Levi was slightly intimidated by Shane's expression but he ignored it, or tried to. "Well... there was this girl there and I kind of was really rude to her. Will you come with me so that I can see her? I'll come back with you after. I think Darren's mad at me, so S-- his wife probably is mad at me that I made him leave. Yeah, apparently he's out flying somwhere." He looked at the sky and the moon, going silent, waiting for Shane's answer.
Darren circled once more around the town square before he landed. He'd seen Levi and Shane walk out of the building together. He landed with a thump next to the two men, and folded his wings up. In one smooth moment he'd grabbed Levi, pulled him back a couple of steps and behind him. He crouched defensively in front of Levi. "Get away from him," he growled through his teeth.

Shane growled, annoyed. He rolled his eyes as Darren told him to step away. "Truly, what makes you think I had to influence him in any way, Darren? Strangely people besides you and your whore, are rather civilized with me. So she's your wife now? Wouldn't be the first time she fooled an idiot." He sneered. His hands curled into fists, "Just ask the poor boy-- I haven't done anything. We were having a rather constructive conversation."

Levi managed to get around Darren, and he moved between Shane and Darren. "Guys dont." He turned towards Darren, a grimace on his face. "I'm 17, I can protect myself damn well on my own. You've no control over me, and neither does he," he said, nodding in Shane's dirrection. "And after wanting me 'out of your sight,' now you want to go all paternal on me? Yeah, that's gonna happen," he sniffed.
Darren had been ready to launch himself at Shane as soon as the word 'whore' left his mouth. And he would have if Levi hadn't wedged himself between them. He made another grab at the teen to get him out of the way, but he dodged it. "You don't know what you're getting yourself into, Levi. He's a cynical man who can't keep a non-abusive relationship to save his own damn life! So go with him, see if I care, but if you come back to me you better be ready for me to turn my back. And as long as you're with him, I'm keeping your precious Allie away from you." He straightened up and turned on his heel, walking away quickly.
"You can't do that!" Levi roared after Darren. "She's not YOUR daughter, your sterile toy could never produce someone half as beautiful as Allie!" He didn't recognize the venom that was put into his words, he didn't even understand why he was saying that, all he knew was that he was angry.
And so was Darren. "What did you just say?" Darren almost whispered, turing around to face Levi. The words Levi said echoed in his head, 'Toy, sterile...' and he snapped. He threw himself into Levi, knocking him onto his back and grabbing his throat. "You're really that ignorant, are you boy?" He phased himself, his talons cutting into Levi's throat.
Levi glared up at Darren, ignoring the warm blood he felt dripping down his neck. His eyes changed completely black, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get away from him.

Shane had to contain the smirk he got from Levi yelling at Darren, but it didn't last long because he launched himself at Darren as the man's hand went around the younger boy's throat. "Back off." He hissed, sending a slight electric pulse as a warning threw his grip on the man. He controlled it enough so it faded before it touched Levi. "You're ready to kill him? Wasn't there some sort of code you changed when you switched to the 'good guys' side?"

Darren held his grip through the shock even though it started a growl deep in his throat. His jaw dropped and he looked up at Shane with disbelief in his eyes as he brought up his past. He let go of Levi and was gone in a half a second.
Levi massaged his throat and cursed when he noticed how much blood was on him. "Switched?" he mumbled. He looked up at Shane. "Thanks for that, I guess. Maybe I can't protect myself..." He noticed Shane's facial expression, but couldn't guess what it was from. He looked at his hand again, and held it up. "Is it hard for you? The blood?"

Shane grabbed the boy's hand and licked the blood from it. "It's not. I'm used to it." He stated, then dropped Levi's hand, turning the boy's face so he could like at the cuts on his neck. "Those aren't too bad." He stated.

"Yeah, I don't know why they're bleeding so much." He leaned into Shane but wrapped his arms around his own torso. He was having a panic attack from the previous confrontation, and he was going through serious alcohol withdrawl. He groaned, "Can we go back to your house now?"

Shane kept his hands to his side, but nodded. "Neck wounds tend to bleed a lot more than they need to." He shifted, making sure Levi could stand by himself and took a few steps-- "This way then." He explained, heading toward the general direction of his house.

Levi walked back into town, and looked down all the roads. When he saw the sign for food, he went straight to it. He walked into the restaurant.

Alexandria dragged her feet against the sidewalk, listening to MJ's footsteps and sat down at the side of the fountain. "This'll take forever!" She whined, resting her elbows on her knees and her face in her propped up hands.

Mary-Jane sat down beside Alex and draped an arm over the girl's shoulders. "We'll find him. This island isn't that big." She looked around, taking in familiar sights of the town. A human looked at her strangely and when their eyes met he rushed on. Let out an irritated sigh, Mary waited for Alex to say something.

Alexandria stumbled backwards and fell flat on her a** as Levi ran into her a while later. She glared up at him, he looked so panicked. She got up and shook her head, "I'm not running from whatever you find scary." She replied coldly.

Mary-Jane quickly got up and hovered at Alex's side, "Are you alright?" She asked, spinning on the boy that ran into her newly thought-of-charge she glared. "Watch where you're going." She snapped. This must be the boy Alex had been refering too. Her eyes flashed dangerously and she turned back to Alex. "You're not hurt are you?" She asked.

"Allie, it's my dad!" he choked out as tears flooded down his cheeks from a hidden source. He picked her up and flung her on his back and began running as fast as he can, grabbing the girl that she was with by the hand and dragging her with him. He'd totally ignored the girl's scolding and flashing golden eyes. He ran until he reached the safety of Shane's house.
