Ignorant ******** seem to outnumber equal rights members. stare
And I may not like Obama, nor voted for him, I am happy that doors are opening up for different ethnics. Obama will just have to prove himself with actions in making the country better, an not ******** things up like Carter did when he was in office with democrats in majority across the board.
And yes you could get a civil union with Ryan instead of marrying him if you wanted to. You'll have to look up what a civil union is though. sweatdrop
As for the gun thing I've heard things like that, even at my local gunshop. Being under grounds that if Obama tries to take our guns away there will be a militia uprising. neutral

Have I mentioned it here? I heard that some people were going around saying "If you support gay marriage, vote yes on 8!" just so that it would pass. D: The people who cared more about it wouldn't fall for it, but I'm sure some more casual voters might have become mixed up. 8_8

Soranoko Have I mentioned it here? I heard that some people were going around saying "If you support gay marriage, vote yes on 8!" just so that it would pass. D: The people who cared more about it wouldn't fall for it, but I'm sure some more casual voters might have become mixed up. 8_8 I was absolutely sicked by the Yes campaigns lies from the beginning.
"Vote yes for Parents Rights"? "Vote yes for Less Government Control"?
These are signs that I saw "demonstrators" holding up on the streets. What kind of horseshit is that, at least the No campaign had no illusions as to what the law was about and were honest about it, but not a single Yes voter was holding a sign to say "Ban Gay Marriage" it wasn't even mentioned.
On a side note a bout of hypocrisy that can only be summed up as ridiculous. Exit polls show a SURGE of black voters, no suprise with Obama really, HOWEVER the racial group which "toppled" in yes on the ban was the black community with a near stunning 3 to 1 vote for the ban
see: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#CAI01p1
Why is this ironic? Because 70 or so years ago discrimination was written into the books to ban Black people from marrying outside of their race, and NOW today after being granted equal rights, they race to the polls and strip those very same rights from ******** YOU, MartinLutherKing would have s**t a brick. HELL, even the NAACP president came out saying that he was against the proposition because it was a civil rights issue. But no, a bunch of homophobic "gangstas" and gaybashing Baptists have to go and ******** it up for everyone.
