fennec2009 is indeed right. The album is predicted to be coming out late 2005. The guys still have a lot to work on, and they say it will be around Autumn, late Summer at the very earliest.

celluloid_dreamer in the ap it says spring 2005 with no date Yes it did. It took a lot of hard work to get that issue, since they stopped selling it where I live. And I ordered an subscription and nothing has come sad

in AP's dec. edition they said early spring, as in march, hopefully. i cant wait.

I hope its doesnt come out in july or august!! Cause im going one vactation and were im going they arent popular and they probably wont have they're cd for sell in the record store there!!!!WHY!!??? * asking this to herself stressed gonk crying sad whee *

Well STS wasn't hard to find at all, hell I got mine at target the day it came out. One of the benifits of working with a larger distributor. So the new album should be even easier to find.

I'm not sure about the particulars, but I think someone had created a fake interview about AFI's new album. They had said that the new album was to be called "The Symmetry of Knowledge and Emotion" and that the first single off of it would be "Sin and Punishment." It was to be out by October 25, 2005, and that it would have a sound similar to Queen/Duran Duran. They also said that AFI wanted to shed itself of their "goth-punk moniker" and that this time around they would attract more Indie/metalcore fans to their music.
BUT, the Official AFI Board mods said that this was not true. It was something made up by a "crazed fan."
...Which puts me at ease once again. If this were true, I don't know if I would have been so excited for it. I have nothing against Indie music or Queen or Duran Duran, but AFI is AFI. gonk
I didn't get all this info myself from the board, but I got it through friends who are part of the board.

Can't wait for it either. But I'm sure they are working really hard on perfecting it. It's something worth waiting for 3nodding whee whee *starts saving up money*
Think a special edition or something like that is going to come out?
