Rioko raised a brow; he was now even more confused than before. He flew towards Erik's car with Skyfire beside him, wondering what she meant. "I'm confused now," he looked at her strangely for quite a while, "You're the one who said you didn't think it was good idea." He shook his hair again and continued staring at her. She wasn't making any sense to him at all... or maybe he just wasn't that smart. Either way, Rioko still had no clue she had been talking about Erik all along. Speaking of which, Erik opened the window they were closest too and waited for them to get in. He was impatiently tapping his hands on the steering wheel, eaves dropping on whatever it was that they were talking about.
For a few moments Rioko just froze there in the air, his wings the only things still in motion. Even with the time he had to think, he couldn't for the life of him figure out what she was talking about. How could she think this was a bad idea and yet look so sad when he agreed with her? Of course, it hadn't been a very convincing lie. "Skyfire, you're not making sense..." he stated, shaking his head again. The male Fenthry cupped a furry, gray hand over his face and sighed.

"I want you to come meet my family" Skyfire told him, tugging him away from the car a little bit. She bit her bottom lip and looked over at Eric worried. Then she leaned into whisper to Rioko, she didn't want Eric to over hear. That female human must fear him for some reason and he was a lot bigger then her and Rioko.
"But I don't know if Eric should come" she murrmered quietly. "He's...mean" she barely whispered it. She didn't wnat Rioko to get mad at her. She hung her head slighlty and shifted uncomfortablly. "I...don't like him much Rioko. He creeps me out and makes me feel bad, and dirty and I don't like the way he talks to me" Or you. she added silently. She really didn't like the way he talked to Rioko.

".... This is about Erik?" Rioko seemed slightly relieved, glad she wasn't talking about him. But then... it was almost just as bad that she was talking about Erik. He knew Erik wasn't very... nice, or polite, or anything like that; in fact he was pretty much the opposite. He understood why she wouldn't like him. Some people could handle Erik, some people couldn't. Regardless, he was still Rioko's best friend. And he already knew he wasn't about to give that up, even for Skyfire. "D*mn it, Sky, Erik's my best friend," the gray Fen stated a little more harshly then he should, he had quickly taken offense to her confession. He stared at her for while, then glanced back at the impatient looking Erik whom was on the verge of an explosion if they didn't get inside the car. Rioko sighed, burying his hands in his pockets once more, his eyes studying Skyfire over.
"Look..." he sighed, leaning his head to one side, "First of all, he's just gonna drop us off; it's not like he's meeting your family with me... And secondly, we don't have any other way of getting home. You don't f*ckin' know him, girl," he tried to laugh, "You should be glad he's doin' this for us instead of going straight to the party. You'll get used to him, don't worry." Rioko smiled at her, his silver lip ring gleaming along with his shiny, white teeth. But suddenly, there conversation was abruptly interrupted. Erik slammed his hand down on steering wheel, honking the horn and holding his hand down on it for a good 5 seconds. Rioko winced slightly, his ears going flat against his skull as the loud noise rang inside his head. "GET IN THE D*MN CAR, RIOKO," Erik shouted from inside. The furry, gray Fenthry laughed and grabbed Sky's hand. "Sh*t, come on," he pulled her towards the car, "If there's one thing you'll learn real quick about Erik it's not to get him pissed off."
After Sam refused to leave; too afraid of what Erik might do to her if she did, Aaron was already in his car and pulling out of the packed parking-lot. He didn't care much for their crazy parties, never did. He loved his work, how could it get any better? But... the drinking and partying afterwards just wasn't for him.

Skyfire winced when he yelled at her, like he had hit her. She felt terrible. She didn't want to hurt him. Ever. But she was deathly sure she knew Erik. At least all that she wanted to know him. He was rude, nasty, dirty, he cursed, and drank and it seemed like he beat up on that girl that was in the car. Rioko just said you don't want to make him made. Even Rioko was scared of him. Skyfire doubt he would admit it or even really knew it but Skyfire could tell. Right now she could see that he also was scared of Erik. Not all the time but he was. He didn't want to make him mad and Skyfire never really worried much about making her friends mad by just being there. They weren't firends if they got mad if you were just there.
Skyfire sighed and fallowed Rioko to the car. She decied she should just drop it but she wasn't going to be around Erik anymore. Skyfire refused to be around a man like Erik, even for Rioko. Actually, twice as much for Rioko. If she could expect him for who he was then he could expect her for who she was and who she was, was a person that couldn't stand Erik. Skyfire refused to bend herself just to try to make sure that Rioko didn't bend himself. That wasn't anymore right then Skyfire asking Rioko to change. He can smoke, he can drink, and he can curse but he wont make her feel uncomfortable.
"I don't want to be around him anymore" she whispered to him quietly before she lost her nerve. "After this ride I really don't want to be around him. You can do whatever you want but please don't bring him around me"

Rioko was trying his absolute best to remain happy and laugh about it, but once again the smile seemed to be torn from his face; and his eyes hooded at Skyfire angrily. He knew if he said something right then, it wouldn't be very pleasant. So instead, he gritted his teeth and turned his head away from her; sitting down in the back seat. Rioko took a few deep breaths to calm down before he spoke, because he knew he was quick to anger... He wasn't even sure why it made him so mad... because she had every right to hate Erik. Perhaps it was because he was expecting Sky to be perfect for him, and he made the mistake of always expecting things to be the best. "But I don't understand," the Fenthry exclaimed, his voice sounding rather frustrated, "You've only seen him like two times, what has he ever done to you?" Erik didn't seem to care that they were talking about him; he just wanted to hurry up and get back to the party. He pulled out of the parking lot and then glanced back at Sky, smiling sheepishly. "So, uh... where do you live, sweetheart?"
Rioko sighed heavily, he didn't like to be mad, especially to be mad at Skyfire... His gaze dropped the to the floor as he thought about it. If he agreed to keep her an Erik apart, they'd never get to go to the band parties together, or concerts together, or clubs, or Dylan's house, or Erik's house, or any of the things Rioko loved to do. It depressed him just thinking about it. He still thought Erik and him were almost the same people... He twirled the hair hanging in front of his face, blinking at the ground with half-lidded eyes. He knew they wouldn't be able to do many things he liked to do in the future, and he was slightly afraid to see what Sky did for fun. He thought that they were two different kinds of people... Rioko figured he'd see how it goes for a little longer, but if it came down to it, he'd have to stick with Erik; his best friend, no matter how bad, or dirty, or disgusting anyone thought he was.

Skyfire frowned at him and refused to let the pain she felt show. She didn't want to do this. To make him feel like he had to choose because she didn't want him to choose. She just really didn't like Erik. Skyfire geussed she could handle him in small doses, like if they went to a band and he came over to say hi or something like that. She just didn't want to be around him for much longer then that. She hated how she felt around him.
She also was a polite Fenthry so when Rioko talked as if Erik wasn't there Skyfire could only shake her head misberly. She couldn't be rude even to a man like Erik. She would tell him later, she would explain it all later.
For now she osftly told Erik where she lived and sat slightly away from Rioko, mostly because she was sure he didn't want to be touching her right now.

Skyfire didn't know what to say. She promised herself that they talk about it after she introduced Rioko. She didn't want this to get between them. She loved Rioko and she didn't want them to be seperated by anyone like Erik. They deserved better then that. Skyfire knew they did.
When they finally stoped Skyfire felt relived. Finally they could leave the disgusting man behind and everything would be fine after they talked. Skyfire felt no woryr that her family wouldn't like Rioko. After all Flame was very open minded, she wouldn't mind Rioko's bad habit once she saw his good side. He had a really big good side, once you got over the rough outside.
Then Erik got out, and started walking to her door. No, he couldn't meet Flame. Then she might think Rioko was the same way. What if she said Skyfire couldn't go see Rioko? What if Rioko swore a lot around Flame like Erik did? Skyfire knew that Flame wouldn't like them to swear because of Enya, their new child. Though she's a teen now Flame still wouldn't want her to be around excessive swearing.
Before Skyfire could stop anything though Erik was knocking on the door and Flame opened it, already looking mildly anoyed at the knock. Her eyes narrowed on Erik, scaning him over.
"Can I help you?" she asked cooly, glancing beyond him and noticed Skyfire. She raised an eyebrow till she noticed Rioko. Then she smiled, "Rioko" she said, plesent surpice brightinging her emerald eyes. She opened the door a bit more but stood in the way of Erik, she still didn't know what was with the human. "Look how big you are. I haven't seen you since you were a child. Are you who Skyfire has been sneeking off to see?" she teased gently. Her eyes took in Rioko's new punk look and remembered what Pirate complained up. Her eyes glanced over to Erik suspiously and then back to Rioko, the suspion disapearing as she looked at the fenthry she knew from featherhood. Infact Pirate managed to buy him from under Flame's nose. She had tried to get Rioko but Pirate was quicker.

It pleased Erik to see the young woman answer the door; his menacing grin grew wider. He leaned against the doorframe and looked down at her. "Why yes," he replied smugly, "I believe the flying blue kitty over there belongs to you." -He laughed; it was supposed to be a joke- "Just thought I'd give 'em a ride home, eh? Mmm... So how are you tonight, sweetheart?" Rioko didn't seem to remember Erik anymore, he blushed only slightly and glanced over at Skyfire with a smile. "Uh, thanks... and... yes..." he wondered if that was good or bad... but by the way she said it he figured she didn't mind all that much. The ash gray Fenthry remembered Flame, he just hadn't seen her in a while. It sorta made him think of a few other people he hadn't seen in a while... Wow. There was a lot of them. Ah, he didn't have time to think about that right now...
"Um, if you have time," Rioko began, "I'd like to stay and... uh... get to know you guys a little better...?" He felt stupid saying it, because it didn't look like something he would want to say. It was actually kind of embarrassing, and he hoped it wasn't to late... It was already dark. Luckily Flame didn't seem to mad. He took Skyfire's hand in flew up the door with her to see if she'd want them to come inside. Erik didn't even think about the party, he was slightly-... obsessed with women. A lot of the times he was very forceful too, and so it sure was a good thing he wasn't drunk. There was something about the way he smiled and the eerie look in his eye the just screamed "rapist"... or... "child molester." "Do you have a bathroom I can use? ... D*mn near exploding here," he asked, snickering slightly, cocking his head to the side. Of course, he didn't really have to go to the bathroom...

Flame's eyes narrowed at the young man "My name isn't Sweetheart, it's Flame and Skyfire is a fenthry, not a kitty. If Rioko...if you know Rioko then you should know the difference" her tone was harsh and disaproving as her nose flared at the sent of alcohol. She could sent it on Rioko as well but he didn't seem to be drunk and his actions was Pirate's responsblity. As long as Skyfire didn't pick up on it of course. Then she worry about it. Besides the man creeped her out with the way he was looking at her. She was glad her clothes were not in the least erotic. Simple lose t-shirt and jeans where not only styleless but old too. She was cleaning today and didn't need to look good.
Then she turned to Rioko and the cold rude look faded into something warm and motherly. "Of course Rioko. Come on in, everyone will be glad to meet you. We been wondering where Skyfire has been going lately." Flame looked like she was going to say more but Erik interuptered her. Her ears flicked back, and her tail twitched. "Yes" she said slowly, as if she was trying to not snap. "Would you like to come in Mr...."

Erik looked at her strangely. He didn't think he had done anything wrong... yet... but she sure seemed angry. His dark brown eyes shifted back to the Fenthry's when she mentioned them, but they reverted to Flame. His smile returned, though not as scary. "Sorry... Flame. I didn't mean any harm," he said it with a questioning look, as if asking why she was so mad at him, "Just trying to help out a friend." Rioko watched them with a blank expression. He had told Skyfire before that Erik wasn't going be with them when he met her family... But know he had asked to come inside, and that was never a good sign. He nodded to Flame, though, and took Sky's hand as they flew inside. His eyes went back and forth, scanning the interior of the room they had entered. "Thanks, Flame," the male Fenthry replied, still wondering about how he could make his "friend" leave.
"Erik," the man answered contentedly, still grinning despite his dark appearance, "Erik Diederich." He was glad she was willing to let him inside, but he was still thrown a bit by her immediately disliking to him. He knew his "type" was not often accepted in the majority of society, so it didn't bother him that much. Oddly, it was actually kind of cute, in his eyes. As soon as Erik took one step inside, Rioko felt guilty. Poor Skyfire didn't want to be around Erik at all, and by the looks of it neither did Flame... He knew he would have to do something... "Um, hold on a sec," Rioko said softly to Skyfire as he released her hand and zipped over to Erik. Erik smiled at him haughtily, as if to say "See, they did let me in!"
"Erik," Rioko started in a slightly agitated whisper; flying around to Erik's back, "What exactly do you think you doing?" The tall, eerie looking German turned back around and so he was facing Rioko. But he only caught a glimpse of him before he fluttered down the walkway in front of the car. Erik followed him with a sigh. "She's cute, isn't she?" he laughed. The Fenthry scowled and flew up to his face. "You can't be here, Erik, don't you have a party to go to?!" Suddenly he remembered the party, and Sammy, but he thought he would have a little time to get back. He brushed the top of his mohawk with the palm of his hand, "Yeah, so." "I already told Skyfire... that you weren't going to come in," Rioko explained with hooded eyes, "She doesn't want to be around you anymore." Erik's smile disappeared; he looked over at Sky and frowned. He knew it. He knew that was what they were talking about in the car.
"But... I like her..." he complained. "Yeah, well I don't know why but she obviously doesn't like you, okay," Rioko retorted, he wasn't sure where this was coming form but he seemed very angry too, "I'm supposed to meet her family today and if you do anything stupid then they're all gonna hate me, and I'll never see Sky again. So can't you just go?" There was silence for a moment, and Erik shifted his view to the car, away from everyone else. They did seem either scared or angry at him all the time, but now Rioko too. He lowered his eyebrows and studied Rioko for a while before he spoke. "You know what? F*ck you, man, I didn't want be here in the first place," the guitarist responded angrily, "Go ahead and have fun with your little f*cking friends, don't plan on hearing from me again." He opened the door of his car and plopped inside. Rioko was slightly surprised... "... W-wait... Wait! That's not what I meant," he sighed, "I just-..." Erik slammed the door and dug in his pocket for the car keys. Rioko fluttered there in the air, he was too shocked to move; what had he just done?

Flame mummbled something. She didn't like the way the man looked, smelled or looked at her. She wasn't use to men hitting on her as normally the cat parts turned most off, and any that might of still been intrested were normally turned off by her many 'pets'. Though Flame saw them more as children. She slipped in, glad that at least the house was clean. Flame moved to the kitchen as she could hear Rioko whisper something to Sky.
Skyfire looked at Eric worried, no, no, no, no. She didn't want Flame to meet Eric. Eric might do something rude or mean and Flame might get mad at Rioko too, since Rioko brought him. Kind of. This was exactly why Skyfire didn't want him around. She turned to Rioko, to ask him to talk to Eric but he was already heading over there.
Skyfire smiled relived, feeling a flush of lvoe that he didn't have to be asked. That he understood. It faded quickly as her ears picked up what Rioko was saying to Eric. She paled slightly under her fur as she heard Eric.
No, Eric was Rioko's best friend. Skyfire would feel awful if she was the reason they stoped seeing each other. Of course she wanted Rioko to stop hanging around Eric, that Aaron guy was right but Sky also wanted it to be Rioko's descion, not Eric's and most importently, not hers. He had to decied if he wanted to be better then Eric.
Her wings buzzed as she flew over to the car. "Wait" she spoke up. Not quite sure what she was doing, "Rioko didn't mean it like that Eric. He really lieks you. In the friendship kind of way" she added remembering their hate of the gay man, something she still didn't understand. "Please don't stop being friends with him just because of me"

Rioko gave a quick yet desperate nod in agreement with Skyfire. He wasn't sure how to say it, but he couldn't imagine life with out Erik. Erik was such a big part of him whether that was a good thing or a bad thing, and he didn't mean to say what he said such a harsh way. He wasn't very good at talking to people, he figured, and especially not good at choosing the right attitude to tell them. Rioko knew he valued their friendship more than Erik did; Erik being a rock star with a whole lot more friends than just the little, insignificant Fenthry. "I really didn't mean to say it like that," he said weakly, "I was just afraid... that..." Rioko glanced at Skyfire and wondered if he should say it right in front of her. He sighed and continued, "... That Sky would get mad at me, and... what I'm almost sure we have, would be damaged..."
Erik had a strange way of looking at this. He actually thought it was pathetic that Rioko was apologizing and didn't have the guts to be stubborn and stay angry. He stared at the two of them, starting the car but lowering the window so that he could say something. "That's lovely," he replied, sarcasm amidst his voice. He looked over at the house again, briefly, to see if the young lady was still there. "Well your fuzzy girlfriend and her mommy f*cking hate me," he said heatedly, "So I'm going back now. Have fun, make some little baby feather kitties for me."

Skyfire bussled under the name calling. She frowned deeply, hating that he swore about Flame but she held her tounge. She didn't want to make Eric leave Rioko. It wouldn't be fair she geussed. More she didn't want Rioko to be sad and if that inculded Eric staying then she ask him too stay. Skyfire looked over at Rioko, wondeirng what he wanted and then back to Eric. She wouldn't invite him if she didn't have too.
Flame stood at the door way. She had caught the jist of the conversation and kept her face nutrual. She didn't like the way the man talked, not around her pets but she could tell Rioko seemed to really care about the man. Flame, like Skyfire, decied to give him a chance.
"You're welcomed to stay if you promise to keep your language clean" she called out to the car before turning inside to start on dinner. They have at least one geust for sure.
