As David stood by the door, trying to decide if he should so abruptly speak with Larita after so long, the decision was made for him when she, as well as those that she had been standing with, suddenly vanished into thin air. "Huh?!" David said, blinking several times to ensure that he hadn't missed something. When he confirmed that they had in fact vanished, he stepped out into the square and gazed at the spot where she had been. He could smell the remnants of magic in the air- a metallic tingly scent.
"I guess... Reunions will have to wait..." He mumbled to himself as he turned and started on his way back through the west gate to head back home.

Yuu eyed BK and Sin a couple of times over and then quickly analyzed the room and adjusted his gas mask to be sure it was secure before placing himself in an area where he could see everyone in the group as to be able to turn attention quickly.
He suddenly realized how long it felt since he was with the group. He felt as if he was being a bit too suspicious of old friends...though not without too much reason not to. Afterall, Wolfe and Sin both worked for G-Corp, the place that had caused his shift...and th reason he was like he was today, not to mention he had a suspicious feeling that each was hiding some darker secret that would later haunt them all. Last was that while the creature was nice and dormant, it left its imprint which gave him more subconcious suspicions about those in the group from his creators to those that joined together with magic and serums to stop the creatures rampage.
He tried to shrug it off, and all that time spent away to try and relax and gain total control seemed to be a waste. The creature had left its mark deeper than Yuu had thought possible.

LC looked up when LoL reentered the room, she had just glanced back down when she did a double take. "LoL! What's on your head?" she asked, wondering if it was some new fashion statement that had yet to reach Barton.

"It may not be G-Corp who is our enemy this time Yuu." said Sin who eyed LoL's head curiously. "First I want to say this is strictly voluntary but I would really appreciate your help"

"you may have seen it when Shaniqua's partner Warrick was kidnapped earlier today, which is why I need your help. I wish to find my cousin and discover why he was abducted. Will you help me?

"You know I'm ready to help whenever, darlin!" Shaniqua commented as she adjusted her gauntlets tighter.

"I didn't say G-Corp was involved," Yuu said. "though I wouldn't mind fighting them again either," he said with an evil grin. "I'm in, since I've already been trying to track these creatures, of course I'm in!" Yuu wouldn't turn down a challenge...even if it did turn him into another monster. 'Just point me in the direction of G-Corp if that happens and we can play another game of Resident Gaia!' Yuu thought to himself.

As he approached the Durem Reclamation Facility, he paused and looked back toward Barton. He'd been thinking about it since he'd left, and he had felt a little guilty for leaving like he had seven years ago. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a page of parchment and a quill and began to write a letter.

'Dear Larita,

Hey, I was wondering how you've been... I'm sorry, this must seem slightly awkward, getting a PM from me after all this time, but I was recently in Barton Town and I decided to see how you were doing... I couldn't stay in town, so I'm sorry that I couldn't stop by and see you. I'm living in Halloweentown now, but I'd appreciate it if you would just keep all this between you and I.

He sat back and looked over the letter carefully, then nodded in satisfaction. The paper slowly began to fold itself up until it formed itself into a small Origami butterfly and perched carefully on the end of his finger. David smiled at it, then held it up slightly as it flicked off his finger and began to flutter it's way up into the air and off to find it's destination. He watched it until it was out of sight, then he continued walking on his way as the cold night breeze wrapped around him.
He brushed his hands up and down his bare arms as he passed under the Reclamation Facility pipeline that arched over the path. Suddenly he stopped dead in his tracks, and studied his feet intensively as he strained his ears. Had he just heard something move in the bushes? Suddenly there was a loud screeching wail and he was on the ground.

LoL shook his head *BK, your still a goof.. as always"
