The Captains Guild closed down and with no reason whatsoever. I must admit that i am becoming quite upset. Is Gaia really trying to completely disown Guilds? When it was just sitting there like an old man being ignored in a deli, it was already upsetting how they seemed to be neglecting it. But now they remove an important source for guild owners and without reason. "Why?" A question so small but so important.
I talked to a friend of mine about it, who is an ex-mod. He said: "I heard it was because nobody wanted to take care of it, which is believable, knowing the staff. "

confused I really don't understand why gaia closed the captains guild. I mean not wanting to take care of it is one thing, but they never gave us a reason. they just closed it! there was a post saying "Yeah, we're closing on the 26'th so yeah. bye~". it's not fair what they did!

Mhm. Yeah. Now that I think about it, Gaia has gotten plenty of new features and crap like that floating around, so taking care of the Guilds was probably the last thing on their corporate budget.
Its just like the Guilds still have the old forum style.

I like the way the guild forums look;
They're not the same as regular forums, so I don't think they should look the same. <.< but I guess that's more of a matter of opinion XD

" This is kinda late, but that's not the reason, I know a few users who would have taken care of it and were well known in the GGN The. Reason it was closed was because Gaia felt they did not need a CG anymore, they figured it a waste because everything found in the CG could be found in the Guild Forum.
