x_Clairvoyant_x I've read The Heroin Diaries biggrin I actually bought it for my stepdad for Christmas and then borrowed it from him after he read it xd lol. I'm borrowing it from my sis's friend because it was about $35 and I said "FORGET THAT!" and so I just borrowed it. I'm probably gonna "read" it for a long time and end up keeping it. I'm just about done whee

That was because I bought it around Christmas time and biographies/autobiographies were on sale biggrin

Has anyone read anything by V.C. Andrews? Hands down the best author I've ever read, and definitely the most underrated. I'm reading The Logan Family series, and they're just amazing.

I'm pretty sure V.C. Andrews is a woman, just from the writing style, but... I'm not sure.
Andrews writes books in series' rather than just writing separate books on their own. I haven't read any of her other series', but at the moment I'm reading The Logan Family series. It's a series of 5 books, and I actually have only read the last 2, and that was an accident. I borrowed them from a friend cause she said that they were really good, but it wasn't until I read the 5th one that I read the inside cover that listed the whole series. So I haven't read the first three yet. I really really want to, but I can't find them anywhere. Her writing is seriously captivating and obviously underrated, I stayed up all night and read the 4th one in one night.

I'm not a big fan of it, but I've never read it or seen the movie. I just didn't enjoy the big hype about when the movie came out because I knew people shouldn't have gotten so worked up about a movie that I KNEW was gonna suck. But anyways, back to the point. I don't know, but it's real annoying hearing about it. No offense to the people here who love it..

You wouldn't understand unless you've read it. There are a lot of people that don't like it, but I think it takes a certain type of person to like the books.

I agree with the statement: "You wouldn't understand unless you've read it. There are a lot of people that don't like it, but I think it takes a certain type of person to like the books."
I HAVE however, read the book. I thought it was alright. :3

But... you said you hadn't read them... I'm confused.
I'll admit, I am a huge fan of Twilight (I followed the movie from the second they announced they were doing one), but I'm not one of those fans that's like, "AHHHH, LIKE TWILIGHT OR DIE!". I'm not going to make you like it.
Twilight is one of those books that just pulls you in. Although any editor can tell you that it has some grammar problems, and some parts are badly written, it is an amazing book. The passion and the romance is so strong that it's almost tangible.
Of course, like I said, there are some people that don't like it, and like any book series, not everyone is going to like it.
