Azarel continued to move towards the forest slightly glancing towards the burnt town, he did ignore the presents of the other dragon. Then afterwords the shadows encased him as he 'shadow jumped' from the scene
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zak traveled quickly through the town, his eyes had followed the girl on the roof. It wasn't hard with the big commotion of the guards following her. Yet when she fell into the barn she seemed to make even more of a commotion the guards spreading out looking for her almost as if they believe she had disappeared or turned invisible. The guards seem to spread out like little ants on an ant hill, looking for the female they were chasing. Zak slipped past the searching guards quietly moving himself into the run down barn. He observed her a bit from the shadows.
"Truthfully," He spoke softly. "Who tries to steal a cow?," he paused a bit as he weaned out the smells in the barn. There were so many, musty hay, horses, mice, mold, and the sent of another dragon that wasn't him. So that must be it, companion of a dragon
(( this might be a crappy post ))
Amber turned towards the voice, drawing out her trusty sword from it's sheath, "My friend has a hungry appitatie." the eyes shifted from left to right, unable to see the male figure. With the sword still raised, Amber demanded, "Come out where I can see you."
Zak stepped out from the shadows into her view. "Really then, if you wanted your friend to eat and you to get away with it, it would have been better to steal a horse. First you can ride away with it and then your friend can eat it." He paused. "Still I wonder how big your friend is to want to eat a whole cow,"
She didn't lay down her sword, only now pointed it in the direction of the male. Slowly, she began to take side steps, trying to inch towards the door; she needed to escape, espeically before the guards would arrive, "My friend dosn't like the taste of horse meat, cow and sheep fit his standards."
She grinned, "Oh, he is a pretty big guy."
Now, if only her pretty big guy would get his a** here, where the hell was he? Usually by now he would have come close towards the edge of town to come look for her, or at least signal her.
"Then you've got one picky dragon on your hands," Zak said with a slight grin. "He should be more grateful since you are putting yoru own freedom on the line for him when stealing them" he did watch her inch towards the door but didn't move.
Guess it wasn't hard to guess, being what man or woman would eat a whole cow? Amber couldn't help but grin, eyeing the door for a moment before looking back over towards the man, "He apperciates it. Well now, it was nice chatting with you, but I should get going."
Slowly, Amber moved even closer towards the door, now practicully standing right in the doorway. Holding up the sword a second more, did she quickly turn in attempt to run.
"I'll come with," Zak replied. "I'd like to meet this dragon friend of yours." He paused a bit thinking for a while, "After all we who wish to protect dragon's must stick together after all," he replied with a small smile.
She didn't bolt, but instead came to a stop to stare at the boy. Oh thank God, he was a protector. The dimples raised as the sword was sheathed, "Alright, he should be near the line by now waiting. Don't fall back."
The sole of the boot kicked off a bunch of dirt from the ground, as Amber basicully bolted out the door. She needed to move fast, since she feared of capture by the guards. But as the young girl rounded the corner, something smacked the back of her head, causing her to tumble back and hit the side of the wooden barn.
The swords of guards rested underneath the chin, being forced to look up into their grimy faces.
Oh, where was Mobin when she needed him?
"Never seems to be a dull moment with you?" Zak questioned a small smile appearing on his face as he came up behind her. His eyes rested on the guards, his hand slipped to the hilt of his own sword, as he debated or to use it. First off he didn't want to hurt the guards just scare them a bit, second if he did this he doubt he would be able to come back to his town. His free hand ran through his hair in thought.
As the guards began to read her rights, a loud scream rung throughout the village and a heavy smoke swept the area. A building was caught in a heavy blaze, licking the wood clean from inside to out.
The guards in a panic ran off to assist, except one who stayed with the sword still pointed towards Amber. The girl growled, placed a hand upon the sheath of the sword to probe a fight. However, the guard was probably the runt of the group. Dropping his sword in fright, he ran off in the opposite direction.
Amber couldn't help but giggle, standing up now with the sword still sheathed, "Looks like he came." Mobin was near, how else would a building erupt into flames?
"Can wait to meet him," Zak replied with a light smile. Yet the flames died down, Zak subconsciously controlling them, he really didn't like seeing others hurt.
A rattle behind the trees made the head turn, gazing away upon the dragons work. He was here, hiding in the bushes.
"Come, those people will be fine."
Being the tour guide for this fine morning, Amber advance forth away from the towns line and into the forest. Lying ahead stood a golden dragon, gazing upon the two once in sight,
"Sorry, I lost your meal."
The mighty animals head leaned down in order for the girl to pet his snot, "That is alright my dear, I shouldn't have asked, seeing as you were surrounded by a couple of mangy guards."
(( zak is a dragon in this one no? cause if zak was, well, mobin would be able to tell right away ))
"Alright, Alright," Zak muttered and then followed her. Zak eyed the other dragon with curiosity. "So your the picky eater?" he questioned with a small smile.
Mobin glanced up towards the stranger, nostrils flared as it started to sniff the air, "You of all would understand a dragongs eating habits, would you not?"
Ah, he could smell the scent off of him and funny, wait a moment. Mobin began to sniff the air again, this time moving. He was acting more like a dog then anything else. Amber took a step to the side to let her friend move, watching as he began to scale Zak up and down with eye movement before smelling him again,
"Mobin? What is it?
"You smell as of the one whom I suspected burnt a small town." his great head turned to look towards his rider, "It was why I was late my dear, I was following of what might have been the source."
"I know of it, in a sense. But on the Vegetarian side," Zak replied lightly, yet what Mobin said next had spiked his curiosity. "How far away was this small town?" he questioned him.
