"I know how you feel." he replied as he looked over at Bella. "We haven't really slept well either." he said as he sighed. "When is the rent due Caroline. I know I haven't been home much as of late but it's my month to pay." he replied.

"Don't worry about it Chris. It's due on the 5th, but if you can't make it I'll cover it. I want you to focus on Alana." She puts her hand on his shoulder. "She's our main goal right now."

Isabella put away the groceries away while Chris and Caroline talked. She sighed as she placed the milk in the fridge. A tear streamed down her face she quickly wiped it away and caught her composure and when back out to where Caroline and Chris were talking. "Thanks for thinking about us Caroline and for being such a great friend. It means a lot to us." She said smiling at Caroline.

"We all set?" he asked Caroline and Isabella as he went to the hallway closet and got out his black leather jacket and put it on. In the left pocket there was a lighter and a pack of Marlboro's that he forgot were in there.

Chris puts on his leather jacket and the pack of marlboro's fell out of his pocket and onto the floor. He looked down at them and sighed as he picked them up and put them in his pocket again. It was a full pack and he knew he wouldn't get through the night with it being full.

Isabella grabbed her black trench coat. She placed her hands in the pockets and felt around. She found what she was looking for and sighed. She couldn't do it. "Excuse me." She said leaving and going to the bathroom. She threw the pack out; there was only 3 left anyway and she didn't dare start again. They were probably stale considering they've been in there for months. She walked out of the bathroom and stood by Chris. "Okay I'm read."She said smiling.

"Jake said he was on his way. Why don't the two of you go on ahead and we'll catch up." She smiles at the two of them.

Chris grabs the keys of his mustang and gives Caroline a kiss to her forehead and nods. "You know what one we are going to right?" he asked her as he handed the keys to Isabella.

Isabella took the keys from Chris and smiled at Caroline. She didn't say anything; she didn't know what to say.

She nods. "Go on ahead, I'll wait here for Jake." She smiles at the two of them, hugging Chris then Isabella.
