I like the old generation better. I don't have any reason why. Maybe because my favorite region of all is johto?

I have come to like the new generation better. The new generation has new evolutions for old generation Pokemon.

i liked the old gen on TV...it got kinda sucky after advanced generation...but the ORIGINAL show was the best! I fell in love with it and they totally killed the pokerap and NAME THAT POKEMON! lol

I can't keep up with the new pokemon emo I think this is because I am an Old Person (read: born in the 80s) and grew up with the first gen. Second gen has a special place in my heart, too, which is why I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of SoulSilver! 3rd gen is where it starts getting foggy, and I am going to be at a total loss when the 5th one comes out.
