Doesn't Aang need other airbenders to help him rebuild the temples? I mean, look at all the Fire Benders that were watching over the last Avatar's temple. It seems like it would be a pretty involved process.
If Aang could find other nomads, maybe some of them could have latent bending skills, or their children could be benders, in order to help. But, that would still take a while.

Grael Malakym777 Aang still is one a monk and two 12 kinda not only can he not be with a girl he isn't into them yet so he's still kind a-sexual I put down that she's a lesbian just for fun X3 it would be freakie if Nick did that One: There are no more monks left, so there is no one to hold him to the ways of the monks. Two: Yeah, he's 12, but he's still crushing on Katara bad. At first he just wanted to show off to her because he has always craved attention, but now it's obvious that it has crossed the line. that is more of a crush that many preteens get
