Really though, since he seems so weird when we first see him, they're probably gonna make him sound like a total goober for the entire series. *sigh* one can only hope they dont butcher him so badly

Why argue, you guys? You already know Lee's real voice, and Gai's! It shouldn't bug you all. It's going to be good. I'm sure they won't take out Rock in his name. They won't use Jackie Chan XD! They shouldn't cut out anything that has to do with the two. The only thing they did change was Gai's name. They put it 'Guy' instead. They think little children would call or pronounce him 'Gay'
If you don't like it, cheer up. Atleast it's not Henry or Bob. mrgreen

And at least they aren't changing the weapons or editing them out entirely. (It amused/horrified me to no end seeing a bunch of thugs in Yu-Gi-Oh pointing at somebody with their fingers in place of pointing a gun.)

Well, I can't type it right. It would be amusing, but after a while annoying. Regardless, I'll love Lee.

Every time i watch the dubbed one i just hear the original characters voices so it doesn't bother me at all.. the only thing is the "BELIVE IT!" but thats about all..

I kinda wonder what the dubbed-Sasuke fangirl's reaction will be when Rock Lee first shows up and kicks the crap out of Sasuke. Only a few more episodes until we find out. As for Lee's voice, anyone see "True Naruto Style"? I can see that as Lee's voice...kinda... >_>

SirHiss I kinda wonder what the dubbed-Sasuke fangirl's reaction will be when Rock Lee first shows up and kicks the crap out of Sasuke. Only a few more episodes until we find out. As for Lee's voice, anyone see "True Naruto Style"? I can see that as Lee's voice...kinda... >_> That voice would be fine with me. True Naruto style...ah. Good stuff. I wish Kiba's voice would be like in the video. XD Most likely, Sasuke fangirls will react like Sakura. ie, "OMGZ EYEBROWSS!!1ONE"

I was wondering how it was going to sound hearing Lee's name in the U.S. version. Rock Lee sounds really cool to me. I don't know that Lee Rock sounds as good. Most of the other names are fine, but this would sound weird to me. Maybe they won't change it. Has anyone else thought about this? I did now that you mentioned it. That sounds REALLY weird. Lee Rock. I hate it. umm it should be Rock Lee, on the official naruto english site, they say in their trailor Rock Lee. soooo REJOYCE! lol jk

Y'know what would be funny? If they made Lee or Gai have a pirate-sounding accent. ninja
The first time I saw a picture of Gai, I thought 'I bet he TOTALLY sounds like a pirate!' (After I thought the two of them were Irish...but that's already been said.)
I bet poor Lee's not gonna have a single English-speaking fangirl after he beats up Sasuke like that. T.T
...Excluding everyone who knew him before the dub.
