Destiny glanced left and right just as Jade vanished out of nowhere. She glanced up, down, left, right and all around, going in a complete circle, too. She scratched her head and sighed, practically pouting to herself. Her shoulders lifted and fell as if she were sobbing. "This is terrible," she muttered, taking a seat at the steps of the school. Another heavy sigh parted her lips and she leaned over onto her knees. She really didn't want to be alone. She suddenly bolted up, gripping her head tightly, a loud whirring sound whistling in her head. "Aaaagh!"
She threw her head back, closed her eyes and then haunched forward, feeling her skin crawl and shake, open and close. In reality, that is what it was doing. So much pent up energy made the gears in her body move too quickly, cracking her skin and moving in odd ways, stretching and then going back to normal. Bumps in different shapes bubbled under her skin, practically piercing through, but not enough.
Finally, she stopped, panting heavily and trembling. It went unheard, a sound wave that bounced back to her. It wasn't hard after that to find out where Jade had gone to or who Jade was with.

He smiled and kissed her gently. "Zachary." He sighed, moving them apart slowly. "I don't know my last name. Like I said, I lost my memory."

Jade smiled. "Hi Zack. My names Jade." Jade suddenly remembered the girl she was going to help. "Um...I have to go help that girl that was new. She probably thinks I just left or something."

He sighed. "Okay." He hugged her tightly quickly, then gently let her down from the tree. There, Aph. Are you ******** happy now? He almost growled as an excited squeal filled his mind. Now I remember why I cut class all the time. Because I have freaking gods as freaking voices in my damn head. And they're annoying.

Jade sighed feeling bad about having to leave. "Hey, if you come help me show her to the office we can both ditch school today and I'll show you some of my powers."

He laughed quietly, and said, "No, just come back here. I have a few annoying people I have to take care of first." He closed his eyes slowly, returning to his mental war.

"Alright. I'll be back in a little bit." Jade started walking over to the new girl when she realized that she would have to go to school if anyone saw here there. She decided that she would give her a note saying she was sorry and telling her where the office was. Jade wrote the note and dropped it in her lap then returned to Zack but noticed that he was having some kind of war with himself so she decided to sit under the tree until he was ready to ditch school.
((Sorry about the turn in the story but I realized that if Jade took her to the office then she would be trapped in school.))

Aphrodite? There was a half-second pause. Yes? I sighed mentally, and replied, She's right beneath me. You can shut the hell up now. The voice stopped immediately and he sighed in relief. In the next second, he was next to Jade.

"I decided that if I took her to the office that they would question me, so I left her a note." Jade smirked. "Maybe my nice streak is over. I guess it was kinda mean to just leave her."

He laughed. "So... when are you going to show me your powers?" Before she could talk, he picked her up and launched off, his crow wings appearing quickly. "Or should you tell me, first, so I know what I can expect?"

Jade smirked. "I'll just show you." Jade snapped her fingers and fire appeared, then with the other hand she splashed the fire with water. "I have more powers, but those are my favorite ones."

He grinned. "Elementals? Believe me, there are a lot of elements you can't even begin to imagine... and having Greek gods to unlock them for you? Pretty damn awesome. Psyche, Demonic, Metal, and much more... they pretty much dumped a shitload of power on me. Unfortunately, every week, usually on Sunday, I release any excess power I have... which is a lot... and it's very painful."

Jade looked around kind of afraid of falling again. After she almost fell to her death she wasn't very comfortable flying again. "Maybe we could fly closer to the ground." Jade mumbled.
