goddess_tyche I loved the trailer, though I wished it was longer. Pretty much what I was expecting. Sapphire - I get what you mean by the Disney feel, though hopefully it won't actually be like that. Yeah I'd like a more darker feel to it. I'll have to watch it again. Because I don't remember what the music was. The music sets the mood.

Sapphire Waterlilly First Wizard Zorander I can already tell this series will be love and hate with me. So many things are wrong that it makes my heart ache, yet i am so excited and drawn to it that i can't stop myself. Poor Richard looks so puny. He has no muscle at all and he looks too much like a kid. Adn Zedd looks too noble and serious. He's like a scrawny Gandalf. And what's with his house? Looks like a Hobbit-hole. He's just supposed to be an old guy in a little house in the woods, just like a normal person. Aaggh, the pain! Isn't Richard supposed to be pretty young in the books? I don't remember if they said specifically. Taste The Saline Rolling Down Your Cheekbone, Feel Your Heart It Breaks Within Your Chest Now...
Yeah, ages were never quite specified, but early to mid twenties was the general gist for both Kahlan and Richard. I do think he's a little puny looking myself.

Yea I always imagined mid twenties as well but a specific age wasn't given. I think its fine that he still looks a bit young cause it is the first book after all.

In that interview they said kid. So they may be even 18-19ish (in the first book)

The book does say they are in the twenties and even Terry has said they are around their mid-twenties.

Me either but that doesn't matter. I distinctly remember that as a guild more people favoured not well know actors over known actors.

LOL me too. But it's kinda funny. The guy from the TV show Prison Break is the bank manager in the new Batman film. So when my sister and I saw him we were like "hey its Mahone!" Or "Shoot that gun Mahone!". Its actually kinda fun. If I saw Craig in another movie and maybe he's in trouble I'd probably go "Use your sword Richard!!!"

That's pretty much what I do in any movie when it is a famous actor, I remember seeing someone I think It was the guy who played Gandalf in LOTR in some other movie and kept yelling random stuff at the screen (other people were not very impressed). But yeah I can see myself getting very upset at the inconsistencies between book and tv. Oh and btw tyche you can probably get the series off me once its been released.
