As for the picture thread, that would be part of the "Find your survival buddy" Sub forum, really. Because basically thats the profile section. The "Who are you?" Thing. So pictures, descrpitions, that stuff goes there.

iFairyx wow where are you? Its now 9.35. What are you up to so late? I am watching will & grace..... I have seen this disk 5 times tonight
Have you thought about a survivers circle? When I used to run a similar sort of guild we had a forum for people to share stories of the past and how they overcame it.
loves iFairy Texas. working. I was thinking of having a sort of forum like that, but I wasn't sure. I was also thinking of a kind of thread listing things to do instead of self-harm, to break the feeling that you need to do something bad, but I'm not sure where that would be put... But I'll put your idea up. It's a really good one.

It worked well in my guild.
How about this?Quote: Young people can become involved in many dangerous things, such as self-harm, drinking, and druge abuse. Worst of all a sense of loneliness(sp) is felt at some point or another. Here at Survival Buddies we aim to be here whenever you need us, day or night. Just having someone to talk to who is your own age and who has an understanding can be the best thing in the world. Talking online is often far easier then talking to someones' face. Join us now, you could end up being the person that helps another out of horrid circumstances, you can even share your own issues and tell overs of previous experiences and how you got through. The greatest qualification of all is life experience. The trick is to play down self-harm. Everyone knows its a big deal so underlining that doesn't have an effect, talking about it openly and suggesting over, less dangerous methods can. I self-harmed when I was younger, never fot attention but to help me deal with events that happened in my life. If someone were to tell me "stop that its dangerous" I'd of taking it as an insult to my inteligence if that makes sense.

It does make sense. I hated it when people said "she just wants attention".
Is that for the thread in the gaia forums? I'll send it to Intro and have her change it. heart

I think the key to it is remembering what its like when your in different situtations, and if you never been in them, to try an imagin how you'd feel.
I hope you don't think I am being pushy or annoying. I just want to help out. I had a guild which was aimed at the same sort of thing, only for the whole of gaia. I got busy however and handed it to a friend who ran it for a few months then ruined it. Shame but a lesson well learned. Feel free to tell me to shut up heart

No, it's a lot of help. I hate knowing something's off and not knowing how to fix it. That's why I put up a suggestion box.

FEED. MATE.
-raises hand and waves it around- Since I just read in the GGarden crew's section about the Luci and Rebellious_Yuri_Lover, and how they had to quit the guild... should we let them come here? I think Rebellious was cool, and Luci was kind of neutral with me.

I've been meaning to invite them. I think I did invite Luci already, but she hasn't joined yet. But I'll send one to rebellious now.

i have a suggestion. put up 2 threads.. one telling why life is good. and another telling why life is bad. therefore, we can always be grateful for what life have to offer, no matter what the condition is. that would help those that felt life have no meaning and such. or combine both in 1 thread. sometimes we just need people to remind us of the good thing in life.
and for those who feels so, feel free to PM me, i'll see what i can offer to help. 3nodding

To the millions of people adressing my lazy/sick/tired butt right now, I appolgise for the delay. I will get to you asap.
Cr8zchldrn-
That sounds like a good idea for a thread. A sticky on the pros and cons of life perhaps?
What do you think darkingsoul? I think it sounds a lot like the ranting/happiness thread in our other guild, and you know how well thats been.
--
IFairy-
Suggestions are good. Help us, please. I'd rather see this idea alive then in my own hands and dead.
And I really like the paragraph you wrote, IFairy. Its very well done and too the point.
As for my thread in the gaian registered guild forums, thank god some one actually proof read that and was willing to work with it and make changes. To be honest, I had no idea what to write and it certainly isn't its best. I'll be altering it in a moment..
X_X Tired... Pardon when I do something stupid.

Why did Reblious Yuri Lover have to quit the guild? I can see why they might have ended up throwing poor luci out, but I never got the story behind reblious. I just knew that she left, and was confused as heck about it.

Rebellious's story was exactly the same as Luci, only Luci was more public.

Really now? I had no idea that she was in the same basket as Luci. Not that it really matters to me, she's still who she's always been regardless of whatever dirt has turned up.
So I take it that the guild decided they aren't going to let trans gender people in any more?
Its too bad. They were nice people.
