"Oppsies. Sorry. Get down here Nathan! No offence boy, but how is anyone supposed to see your face or acknowledge your very exsistence if they can't see your face," Addy said as she pushed the hair away from his eyes and tucked it behind his ears. "Why so scared?" she asked him as if she instantly knew something was wrong from the look in his deep blue eyes. Then Adara snapped back to the situation she was in. "There's no need to be THAT scared. I mean, yah, she humiliated me in front of my friends and picked on my boyfrie...nevermind. But she's after me, not you." Adara looked away from Nathan. He had this vibe about him that said, Don't mess with me! and Addy knew to shut her mouth.

Chanese Shook her head and got up from the chair. The amusment had worn off of watching people hiding from her. She plastered a big fake grin on her face and waved at Addy as she was leaving. She then tured around and laughed to herself, and then walked out of the common room, back into the corridores.

"Thanks", Nathan said after Kiandra's friend pushed his hair behind his ears. He liked having long hair. It made him feel secure and he knew that Kiandra liked it and that was all that mattered. She was his everything...literally. If something happened to her he would'nt live not after everything else that has happened. He needed her and he loved her.

"Thank Dumbeldore she's gone! Now I can act like a normal human being! Nate, I'm Addy! Sorry for confusion, I want to make a fresh start and I DO NOT want to be associated with chanese. I HATED my old school, I mean, i guess I belonged, i wasn't French or anything.... but there was stuff that happened there, that I'd like to forget!" Adara said to both of them, regretting she told them because now she knew the answers would start coming. She took a seat on the floor, crossing her legs. "I don't know anyone, so you guys better be up to date on who's going out with who and who backstabbed who cuz I am behind on the gossip, obviously..." Addy said, as she bacame more comfortable in her shoes. Maybe they'll forget about what I said about forgeting my past now.

Nathan stared at Adara...hahaha she thinks that we know the school gossip "We don't know very much at all because we don't talk to other people unless we are spoken to. All we know is that there is something weird going on with this Sheena girl and a bunch of people are losing their powers. And we know that there is a masquarade coming up soon.

"Well That's okay that you have no life. Just kidding. You guys are kind of...cool. I mean I should expect it, we are Ravens, the "smart ones" Ha ha." Adara said, she felt sorry for making fun of these people that she really didn't know that well. She didn't want to make more enemies than she already had. "Well the masquerade sounds like fun, you guys gonna make an apperance, or will you stay home and read, ha ha" Crap, I made fun of them again, what's WRONG with me!

"I hope to go to the masqurade" Kiandra said. I think it will be fun. Going to a ball and no one will know who you are. I can't wait. You should come to Hogsmede with us. We're going to look for outfitts for the ball." It would be fun and you could see the village it is really nince. We could maybe go to the Three Broomsticks and get some butterbeer. What do you say?"

Adara smiled at Kia, I can't believe they don't hate me. Me and my darn big mouth! "Sure, I'd love to. And maybe we'll see some boys there too. We could pick ourselves up some dates. The masquerade will be fun, I can't wait." Addy brushed her hair out of her eyes as she got up and headed for the door. This won't be so bad after all, she thought and two seconds later...she tripped over the same stool. Effffffff!!! I've got a problem!!

"OK lets go but first I have to talk to Kiandra alone for a second" he had screwed up enough courage to ask her to go to the dance with him. Hopefully she would say yes. He wanted to go with her sooooo badly. He had held his feelings about liking in for a really long time. He hoped that she liked him back and wouldn't think it was weird for best friends to go out. Besides they knew everything about each other why not date?

"What do you need to talk to me about that is so secretive that Adara can't hear?" Kiandra asked. She didn't know why he sounded so serious. What had happened now? She hoped that it wasn't a bad thing. She liked having Nathan asa friend but sometimes he was really serious. But when she thought about it she knew that he had been through some really hard times and that he didn't have parents anymore and to make it worse he watched them die. Sfter thinking about this for a few minutes she realized that she shouldn't be so harsh considering the circumstances.

"ok ummm.... well.... I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me?" Nathan asked studdering because he was so nervous. He wantedto go with her so badly and he really didn't like rejection so he was really scared of what her responce would be. He didn't like it when things were unexpected. He just felt like he had no control. (which was true)

"I would love to go to the ball with you" Kiandra replied. She was surprised that he asked her but she really wanted to go with him. It was really cute how nervous he seemed. After all we have been best friends for like ever. She didn't want him to be nervous around her so she took his hand and they walked out of the common room together.

pure smiled and walk around the room he need. He then found alot of books on a couch and sat down reading them. "There finally I can study some study without being bothered." He smiled and sat down on a couch and took out his stuff.

Nathan looked all around the common room for Kia but had no luck. After he had asked pretty much everyone in the common room if they had seen Kia he gave up and went to his dorm. He felt awful about his fight with Kia earlier. He wanted to make it up to her. He hadn't meant to be a prat. He just wanted to keep her safe from that devious girl. Nathan layed down on his bed and closed his curtains. He didn't want anyone to see him in this state. He had never felt this awful in his entire life. Right now he really wanted his parents. He knew that they would understand. He really needed someone to talk to right at the moment but he had no one. He just felt so alone. Without Kia he was nothing. He needed her that was why he needed to apologize to her for what he had said earlier. He didn't mean to hurt her feelings. Nathan lay his head on his pillow adn drifted off to sleep.

Nathan woke up just time for the evening feast. He got out of bed and walked down into the common room. He again didn't see Kia. He wanted to talk with her so badly. He needed to apologize to her. He asked around again to see if she had come into the common room and found out that she came in but went straight to her dorm. He looked all around the room for someone who could go get her from her dorm, a girl. Then from the corner of his eye he saw Addy. He was completely terrified of her but he deperately needed to talk with Kia so he walked slowly and cautiously up to Adara and asked in a quiet voice, "Would you happen to know if Kia is up in her dorm still?"
