One of good sides about Reno is that in AC 80% of his fighting looked realistic. A bit faster than real but yet he did things as they go in reality. I have background in Korean martial arts and I loved it. I'm not that nerdy that I'd recognize what style it really was but it was great after so many scenes of jumping in air. Refreshing and suited on him perfectly.

Agreed, there was alot of impossible fighting in that movie, but could we expect coming from Final Fantasy?

Gravity denying stunts are one of the most entertaining part in AC, especially when those too are done well. Spark of something else in there just fitted nicely. It said that Square can do that kind of fighting too, feet on ground note or something. And one more reason to like AC more.

Only thing that bugged me in AC was after cloud busted through Bahamut's Mega Flare. Where'd the flare go? He didn't destroy it, just busted through!

At least, unlike a lot of those Chinese movies, in AC it seemed like the characters had some weight. Instead of just floating through the sky they actually went pretty fast, and it seemed like they needed some sort of boost to get that high up in the air, and they actually landed as if they weighed something, instead of just floating back to their feet.
And I don't know how Cloud pulled it off, but maybe it had something to do with Aerith's helping hand...

It looked to me like they still floated a little, but how do you really tell? It's not like you have a basis of what people jumping that high is supposed to look like. All you can tell is if it's really off.
The Mega Flare? I didn't even think of that. Why wouldn't he be able to break through, though? It's just a ball of energy. Strong energy, sure, but it's not logically the same as going through a wall or something, more like going through an electric fence, I'd think.

If you're going fast enough, I assume by inertia and other means that if you fly off of a motorbike, for example, in that one road rage battle type scene, that it is possible to float around in the air like that.
I can also tell because usually in those Chinese movies it seems a lot slower than in FFT, where things were quick, and instead of just floating down to their feet they actually fell, rather quickly, into crouching postions...And it took several people to boost Cloud towards Bahamut. It's not like he just flew up there all by himself or with one boost, etc.
Let's not forget too that this's fantasy...and maybe Cloud and the others who did that had on special materia to make them better jumpers...

Yeah, I suppose. I honestly rarely to never watch that kind of movie, so I can't really say. I did notice Cloud landed really nice after his Omnislash especially, though.
Heck, in Crisis Core Zack needs materia to be able to jump at all. xd

It IS fantasy. It is not even possible to 'push' someone higher when you're on air too. biggrin But it looks good and that's the point.

I acctually meant where did the mega flare go AFTER Cloud busted through. It was kind of a mystery how no one in the city below got burned to a crisp after Cloud busted through, because he doesn't destroy it, he just kinda goes through it.

Schutzhund It IS fantasy. It is not even possible to 'push' someone higher when you're on air too. biggrin But it looks good and that's the point. Sure it is. Two objects meet in midair and their velocities are averaged. If Cloud is going up, and (for example) If Tifa grabs his hand and pulls their hands up at a higher velocity than what Cloud is going at, and Cloud will be pulled up. What I'm more skeptical about is how well that pulling seems to work in the movie. I suppose, though, considering how strong they are, Tifa can pull him up better than any normal human. The Mega Flare... maybe it was held together by some sort of electromagnetic field and by passing through it, Cloud broke it? I don't know if that makes any sense.

nobodys0somebody Yaoi_boy92 Mine is cissinei (cirsis core) also know as shuriken in before crisis she was very nice also her giant crimson shuriken rekka, then my next favorite would have to be Rude because he just sits there like ...... he makes me laugh biggrin YAY im not alone! ive never played BC...isnt it only released in japan? i know she was aka shuriken...wikipedia Yeah, she's also in BC. The game was released for a certain brand of cell phone in Japan. I REALLY hope they consider bringing it to NA. I go to Gunshot Romance for the translations for the different missions. The site hasn't been updated in a while though, but just reading about it makes me want the game. It would be so nice to play from the Turks POV.
I can't really pick a favorite, seeing as I just love all the Turks.
