"It does, unfortunatly get worse. You see he takes our female dragons old enough to bear clutches and keeps them...." Feeling akward she reluctantly continued, "and takes any clutches they have then he makes the oldest dragons in the clutches and makes them fight each other while killing the youngest and weakest ones off." Getting frustrated with the short stride of the human she continued. "The only reason I was not taken was because my mother said I was younger than I actually am. Instead the wizard took my mother."

"Of course it is troubling! The council tries to fight his control but it seems his power gets stronger every day." Reanna's voice lowered to a whisper. "I think he is using blood magic from the dragonets in the clutches he's killing. I think that's the only way he can control almost every dragon he looks in the eye." Raising her voice again she angrily stated. "What he is doing is against so many laws of dragon-kind. If he really is a wizard in dragon form than he will get a millenium of torture."

"I have even gone into hiding. I am now a loner." Reanna sighed and brushed back her human's silver hair. "No human shall control me more than the new council shall. I have denounced my title as princess. Now the wizard shall never find me." Smiling she continued on towards the village. "I am now only messenger Reanna."

"There have been few to escape the wizard. Even I did not fully escape...I still feel a touch of his power every now and then. But the full royal bloodline has been tainted and the whole council as well. The very old and the weak have been affected. There is a group of...I suppose you could say..."teens" that have gone into hiding. Every now and then we meet up at the caves of my new home."

"But everyone is not taking it well. There are those who are so strong that they fight the wizard too hard and are killed. There are the weak ones who eventually are totally controlled by him. Then there are the ones in the middle. We are both strong but adaptable. We slowly build up imunity to the wizards demands but ocassionally our minds are ravaged by his torments."

Reanna laughed. "The elves?! Every time us dragons ask for their help and try to explain it to them, they mock our weakness as a race! They seem to forget who is winning this war and how eventually we will wipe them out totally."

Trying to shake off the headache growing behind her skull Reanna said. "I didn't mean to imply that I was cocky it's just...." Putting her hands to her head she groaned. "He's in my head trying to make me angry enough to attack the village and to kill anyone who gets in my way. And that anger is being directed at everything." Groaning again she stopped walking.

Mudd quickly finished his task, and decided to go out hunting. He quickly slipped into the woods, going over to the trap he set yesterday. He saw nothing and sighed. He heard talking about the dragon race and immediately he bared his teeth fury making him chill. A small growl escaped his throught. He covered his mouth and winced, he hoped neither of them heard that.

Reanna sighed in contentment. "He's gone..." Then she looked towards the bushes where the growl had come from. "That boy has my jewel!"
