I just read up to Chapter 2 of Volume 8. Coooooooooooool.

---
It seemed to me that Millenium did something to Walter back in 1943-44 (during The Dawn). Major says something like "everything was decided back then." Whatever they did has just be "activated" now.

Ditto on all that.

I just finished reading it a few minutes ago, and the whole time I was reading V8 I was going, "No way! Holy crap! That is sooo cool!" That's gotta be the coolest attack I have ever seen.

Volume 6 is currently set at March 23. 10 more days!

It's already been moved at least twice. Hopefully for the last time.

~PoisonedBat~
Was that a flashback?! I thought it was a dream foreshadowing future events. I loved that part too! blaugh

It was a flashback.
Sort of Spoilers...

In the original Dracula novel by Bram Stoker, Count Dracula was defeated by Van Helsing and co. I believe Alucard (whos name is Dracula backwards, was remembering his defeat. The woman that was 'no longer his' that the man (It might be Van Helsing) mentioned was Mina Harker, whom Dracula had fallen in love with (debate-able) and bitten.

Ace of Death
This is kind of random, but does anybody know about the younger version of Walter that we see in the later volumes? Is he, like Pip said, a vampire made by Millennium, or what?

As far as I know, Millenium brainwashed Walter somehow and turned him into a vampire (red eyes?). I'm not sure how this ocurred, but I've heard references as to the Major being the "Maestro of War" and stuff. When turned into a vampire, one is transferred back to their physical best, which is why Herr Major, Doc and the Captain still look the same after fifty years (see volume 4).
I have a pic of Dark Walter somewhere, I'll post it when I find it.

In case anyone was wondering what younger/Dark Walter looked like..Here's a pic. He looked different again in The Dawn when he was 14, but that's old news...

I think he's supposed to look younger because of whatever effect they had on him. I still say that everyone's screwed because of it...

Yeah, I think that when you're made a vampire you're reverted back to your physical best...Like mid twenties or something. I did the math, and the Major is about 78 years old in the current storyline. XD Looks pretty good for his age, if you don't count the fat.

The fat is what makes him adorable, some would argue.

I, however, am not among those who would say that.....

even though I just did. stare
