I've been infection free for about two months now. I'm hoping to keep it that way. (: My doctor thinks I was just colonized with some weird bug for a long time, but they never completely went away because they were resistant to the drug in the first place. I had a week of cipro and everything seemed to clear up.

Hi, I'm Virginia. My Aunt has Parkinson's, but she does well with it. I've never met her in person, so it doesn't really affect me too much. I have a certain disorder, but it's not debilitating. Anyway, that's me, I enjoy Acting and Reading.

Hello, my name is Sara. Most people call me Sara Blue. I'm 18 and I live in Northern Ireland. I have a beautiful boyfriend that I met on Gaia. We've been together almost 10 months, and have met in real life twice. He makes my life worth while and all the bad stuff not so scary. The bad stuff being is I'm disabled. I have a muscle wasting disease called Congenital Muscular Dystrophy and also Scoliosis and Sleep Apnea. I can't walk anymore and use a breathing mask at night. But like I said, he makes all that okay. :] Oh and before people say "Loser, net romances are stupid." He's stayed at my house and stuff, so it is real. Lol. Anywho, I live with my parents and my two sisters. I have two dogs, two hamsters a rabbit and a snail. ^^; Hrm... I spend a lot of time online on myspace, gaia, tribal wars, roleplaying and other random stuff. I also like drawing and music. That's all I can think of to say. So, yeah. Hello. ^-^ Sorry if I said too much.

Hello, ya'll. I'm Emma and I'm from Idaho in the US. Also known as the potato state.
I'm interested in this guild because my mom and auntie Kathleen have Fibromyalgia, while my auntie Annie has MS. My other aunt, Melissa, has some problems, but I'm not sure what they are.
I thought it'd be nice to talk to people who have actually heard of these things...

Tiefling- Welcome to the Guild! You do definitely come to a better understanding when chatting with people that know what you're talking about, when my Grandad had MND it was horrible talking about it and getting blank looks or nods and "Er...yeah" comments from my friends.

I think I've heard of it, never been. I work in a Waitrose right on the outskirts of Cambridge so I have to be there all too often. I tend to go once a month for shopping as my closest town is very limited on shops (Woolworths, Tesco and a tiny WH Smiths plus various independant retailers).
