What does everyone think of the 'slap' he gives Aeris? Most try to say this proves he doesn't care about her, even though later in the game he specifically asks for her and to speak to her. Here's a TsengxAeris site:

This one's easy ^_~ Everyone has their own interpretation of this, and so here's mine! They're high up on a helicopter with nothing protecting them from falling off the side. What does Aerith do? She leans over, putting herself in danger. How does Tseng react? Instinctively. He slaps her so she falls back inside the helicopter, away from the edge. It's actually a very interesting scene. I mean, here's Tseng, who is usually so calm and cool, who doesn't let anything shake him, and we see his control snap right before our very eyes. Why? Because someone he cares about could potentially fall to her death right in front of him if she's not careful. So he acted in the moment. His emotions got in the way of his usual composed self. Now I'm not an advocate of men hitting women or domestic violence or anything like that, but Aerith's a big girl, she didn't seem too battered from it. And besides, I like to imagine that on that helicopter ride to the Shinra Building, he apologizes to her and asks for her forgiveness ^__^
I think this is interesting. Thoughts?
And if anybody wants to know why I'm supporting this pairing in the Zeris guild, it's because the two are so closely related. This LT is very suttle in CC, but even SE acknowledges it, so I think it's something to consider. Plus, I'd never try to say that Aeris has romantic feelings back at Tseng. XP It's just interesting to look at the other man who may have truely loved her.
EDIT: This discussion about Tseng from another thread I'm moving here. XD

"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not."
I was spazing out so much when I saw Tseng in AC.
"OMFG, HE ISN'T DEAD?!!! DID HE EVER TAKE ELENA TO DINNER?!!!!!"
x'D
He had such little screen time, he may as well have been dead though, lol. His death was greatly exaggerated! I cried my eyes out though, when Tseng "died" in FFVII. I don't know why he grew on me so much... but he's one of my favorites and always will be. *huggles Tseng*
Tseng: .... Get... it... off.
I always thought him taking her out to dinner was a poetic way of wrapping up his character. Before he dies, he makes reference to her feelings. I don't think it means he has them for Elena, but he's also showing he's open to the possibility.
She's Aeris' age, isn't she? Oh Tseng, liking in young ones.
