Nai stood by the machine for a moment, turning her eyes over toward Tae as he sat on the chair next to the phone's side table, "At least give him a chance, Tae... You only get one shot at this, you know.."
Tae frowned slightly, lifting his head up to watch Nai. She only said that because her only chance in her eyes had been Aaya, and he was completely rejecting her entirely.. He sighed, and nodded for her sake. Who knows, maybe it WOULDN'T be such a bad idea..
Nai called the number for him, knowing full well Tae hated telephones, "Oiy, Kazuki, right? This is Naitu. Tae says it's all right. Would you like to meet up this afternoon or something? I can't guarantee he'll be good company, but if you can get past the fuzzy shield, he's pretty cool.."
The sound of something hitting the phone could be heard, as Tae chucked a shoe at Nai.

Kazu heard the phone ringing and sprinted to it in the house-apartment. He knew it'd be Nai or Tae, "Hi! That'd be great sera says she can drive us to this amazing part of town where she knows amazing coffee and pastry shop run by her high school friend. Would that be okay Mam? I'll make sure I don't mention you know who again this time," he said sounding way different then he had the previous day. He sounded vulnerable and more like a young teen/older child. Perhaps this was because aaya had told him that isn't how you should ask. But he really wanted Tae to like him

Nai had to duck the other shoe before responding, "I'm not exactly all that rich, so I hope it's not too expensive..." she picked up the shoes and put them by the door where they were supposed to go anyway.
Tae stuck out his tongue at her before going back to watching the television. His morning cartoons were on after all, and they were pretty cool. TiVO was a blessing, as he was watching some of the animes that Naitu had saved the night before.

"My mum is paying for it all, she has an uh...small fortune....so it will all be on us!" he said very happily, "Drop him by whenever you want tommorow, I'm sure it'll be a fun day!" said Kazu excitedly.
He was excited and he had resigned himself to the idea of letting Tae make the first move if he wanted too. He really had been a pig yesterday, he was surprised Tae was giving him another chance.

"I'm sure she's going to regret that..." saying you'll pick up the tab for Tae's monstorous appetite was like trying to keep a black hole filled.
She nodded, though realizing you can't HEAR a nod, she turned to Tae, "I'm actually going to be out all day tomorrow, Taeyeoung will be staying with Aayatomi, so I won't be able to drop him off... Would you mind making it today?"
Tae let out a whoop, apparently one of the characters had done something great or something along those lines, and it startled Nai so bad a loud crashing signified she'd fallen over.. And a few faint swear words after showed she meant it.

"Sure besides the employee that Sera thinks is hot is working today so she wont mind," said Kazu then he was hit upside head by Sera and who took the phone from him.
"Hullo Nai, that'd be fine and there is plenty of money for everyones meal, it'll be fine and ignore what Kazu says about my employees," she said pinkening lightly. Little did the two know that they were being taken to her bakery cafe. It wasn't just that she was manager and cheif cook she also knew it was a fine establishment. But her favorite reason was to see Russ during work. He was always so cute in the back cooking with flames and making jokes

"Ah, I see, I'll just see you guys there then."
She hung up the phone after that and sighed, leaning against the wall she motioned for Tae to get some clothes on. He trotted off and didn't notice as Nai stood up and headed toward the cabinet, "There you are..." she pulled out a tiny bottle of prescription pills, putting them in her mouth she swallowed the tiny things dry and put the bottle back as Tae came out.
He took her hand as she put on some shoes and shut the door behind her. Well, at least some people were a bit luckier than she was. Maybe that's why she was still there. She balanced out all the good luck in the world. She heard a tiny mewl and opened the door to find Saitou waving her arms to come along.
"Haha, all right, c'mere..." She lifted the green-tea scented Heila onto her hip and finally onto her shoulders, letting her sit there as she made her way down the hall toward the cafe that she had heard mentioned. Hopefully things would turn out better than they were..
She stopped as she heard Dami on the sidewalk, smiling at the boy, even he seemed happier than usual... She realized then he got himself a girlfriend when he saw him jogging to meet up with a young female whom looked infatuated with him, and laughed dryly. Great. Just freakin' great.
Now all she needed was to see Aaya walking around with some blonde transvestite and the day would just be perfect..
(*snort* Couldn't resist her ranting a bit.)

Sera asked howl to instantly send her and Kazu to Sera's cafe and upon walking in she saw James manning the register.
"G'Morning James, how are you today dear?" asked Sera cheerfully to the suit wearing employee
"Lovely Miss Sera, when are we ever going to learn your real name?" he asked with a nice smile on his face.
"Ah dont bother with the Miss, and never, No one but me in this world will know my real name so give up now," said Sera grinning.
"I dont give up!" said James laughing
"So is Russ in?" said Sera trying to pretend that it didn't matter to her.
"Yes Sera, he most certainly is," said James winking at her, though she might pretend she didn't she had a definite crush on Russell, "And I see we brought Kazu?"
"Kazu will be having company soon, another young heila that he has a slight crush on so we must serve them to our best extent!" said Sera putting on a fake "official boss" voice.
"Ah so there is more love flying around the air in here than usual," said James matter of factly.
"I DONT LIKE HIM," said Sera defensively
"I was talking about Mark and Lilly actually but whateevverrr," said James laughing.
Kazu ignored the two humans and set about checking that the table was adequite.

".. This looks like the place... Damn.. Freakin' huge..." Nai blanched a bit. This place must cost a fortune!
She came in soon enough, letting go of Tae's hand she put her arms under Saitou to keep her from falling, eyes turning about to figure out who went where...
She spotted Kazuki and Sera soon enough and headed toward her, Tae close behind. He didn't like big places like this... Though he would suffer through it since Nai asked him to. And maybe she was right, maybe he would have a good time..
Nai nuzzled Saitou as she leaned over her shoulder a bit, arms flailing a little to point at things in wonder. The little Heila was a mute for the most part, she never spoke actual words, no matter how hard Nai tried to teach her to do so. It was aggrivating, but, there wasn't much she could do about it. Even Aaya couldn't get her to talk, and he was something short of an expert on Heila with as many as he had running around his house all the time.
"We're here..." she stood quietly to the side. Around Aaya, she was loud, obnoxious, completely out of sorts... But once she got out of her comfort zone, such as a place like this, she grew quiet, more subdued, even.. A lot like Tae in her own way.. Aaya grew up with her, so he knew how she really was... And Tae was her Heila, so of course he knew what she was like...
But still..
This place just seems a bit too fancy...

James walked into the kitchen and after Sera had glanced to make sure he was gone she started talking
"Ah welcome, I meant to resize this before you came, I dislike it this large really until dinner," said Sera looking around. She waved her hand elaborately in the air. Suddenly the shop shrunk to the size of the inside of a starbucks. "Ah there we go, that'll do nicely!" Sera said happily and showed the two heila their seats.
Kazu grinned and bowed to great Tae, "Nice to see you Again Tae, how is this day treating you? Oh and sera the regular for me and can you get Tae whatever on any of the meal menus he'd like?" he said kindly then went back to looking at Tae, awaiting an answer.
"Surely Noel, I'll go tell the chef," she said happily and walked towards the kitchens double doors.
"Make sure not to flirt with Russ while back there," Said Kazu teasingly.
"Shut up Noel! Would you like to stay too Nai? I can feed you and your other lovely Heila for free?" Sera said embarrassedly.

"Ah, no, I'm just here to see him off. I've got to get to work, Sai's gonna help me, aren't ya, Baby?" Nai cooed up at Saitou, whom churred right back at her.
When Tae heard the word 'menu', his ears drooped and he tugged on Nai's pants leg.. Oh, well, that was a given. She nodded her head, taking the menu from the table and looking through... WOW the stuff here was INSANELY Expensive!
She was GLAD she'd declined the offer! Working there or not, it was asking to go broke just BREATHING in here! She blanched a bit, but Tae soon crawled into a chair beside her and looked over toward Kazu as he spoke, "I... I'm all right... And you...?"
He didn't seem all that talkative right now. Probably because of the unfamiliar area, and the fact there was so much magic being used, it frightened him almost with all of the stuff going on.

"Okay then, and it is all free of charge! So, enjoy your meal dears!" she said rushing off to the kitchen excitedly. Time to see russell! Hopefully he wasn't already too busy with james.
James knew Russ actually like Sera and that he was just a make out buddy but it still hurt him a bit. It was already rediculous, Russ made no advances, sera made no advance on eachother. There were just friends they boh liked eachother but neither was aware of the others affections. He talked to his designated heila about it quite frequently. James was in charge of Kona who knew the most about the goings on and was the one who actually wrote out the heila jourrnal.
"Quite good, this place has some great food but I'd like to know, what are some things you like besides your bell Tae?" asked Kazu curiously.

"Here, Tae.. I'll get you some mozarella sticks, some sirloin with jumbo shrimp and some baked apples with spicey fries, okay?" Nai muttered to the Heila, whom nodded his head quietly, sitting in her lap..
He almost didn't want her to leave, this place was so foreign, and it smelled strange, it wasn't like the Duffin Bakery or Cafe De La Vie... It smelled of angst and sadness, and he didn't like it, it made him think of his own problems and he just didn't like being reminded of it so vividly...
"What I.... Like..?" Tae had to register what he was saying a second before he finally realized what was being asked. He quietly thought for a while, "Well.. I like making food.. Health foods really... Since Sis is a vegan, I make a lot of veggie meats and stuff..." he fidgeted quietly. What else did he like?
The snow... Even before he had actually MET Snow, he found that he loved actual snow. But he wasn't going to admit to that. He hated the water contrary to popular belief that tigers loved it.. He did not...
His tail flicked, distracting Nai from what she was thinking about herself, and she looked down a second, and spoke quietly after, "He likes birdwatching and cartoons, too... C'mon, Tae, lemme get up, okay?"
Tae tensed a moment though relaxed shortly after with a small nod. Nai had places to go and other corners to be depressed in.. She set him down and stood up, rubbing at Sai's ears quietly, "I'll see you guys in a few hours... Tae, you know my cell number, just call me if you need anything, okay?" she smiled gently, pressing a light kiss to his temple. He purred gently and nodded, watching her leave, he spoke again, ".. I love my Sis, too..." he turned around and watched him, "What do you like...?
