shincho frowned and said " your making this difficult Atara." he then took a few steps closer to Atara and looked her in the eye's. "what reasons can you possibly have?"

Atara furiously opened her eyes. They smoldered angrily, upset that Shincho didn't understand, but the rest of her expressions were scared and innocent.
The anger soon died, and she averted his gaze. Trying not to stutter, she managaed to confess to him. "I-I'm engaged." She carefully lifted her left hand and held it in plain view of his face.

Shincho fell over and landed on his head. "you could have told me sooner and i would have stopped." he got up and said " if i may ask who are you engaged to?"

Her palm connected with her forehead as an audible whap was sounded. Hearing his question, Atara clamped her eyes shut; her hopes were that he wouldn't ask this question.
"Well, I'm not sure about that yet." She rocked back and forth on her heels. "I'm not to meet this man until my 21st birthday. It's an arranged marriage that has been planned since my birth. All I know, is that the man does not come from a village allied to ours. Our marriage is supposed to unite our villages together, but, you can imagine what could go wrong, right?" She laughed self-consciously as she stopped rocking.
She became serious as she glanced at him with a warning. "But I have other orders as well. If by some chance of fate I am to meet this man before the destinated time-" She quickly silenced herself, careful that she wouldn't give too much away.

shincho bursted out laughing and after he was done he said " so your telling me that your going to marry some guy you don't even know." "So my next question is what's the point? you shouldn't have to marry the guy you should only marry him if you love him."

Atara glared at him. "See, I knew I couldn't trust you with this!!!" She threw her arms out in exageration. "Once again", she started after calming down, "That I have my reasons. Until you are looked upon as scum who has ancestors that you should worship day in and day out, don't laugh at me. I would bring dishonor to my family name if I were to go against my orders."
Her expression and tone changed to one of stone, and soon Atara seemed to be talking out of her body. "Love is a silly emotion that people get absorbed in, just to be dropped. My philosophy is different; but to reach the unreachable, I must do something as simple as bind to countries together."

shincho said " the reason people get absorbed in love is because they want to be with someone and they try and try to get that person to love them back." "Who cares about family honor you should do what you want to do not what your family wants to do." shincho a step or two closer to Atara this time glareing down at her.

Beginning to get angry, she took another step toward Shincho.
"It's not what my parents want, it's what my guardian wants. Both of my parents have been dead for 12 years now!" She turned on her heels, feeling hot tears form in her eyes.
Turning her head to the side, but not enough to entirely see Shincho, she spat one final commnt. "And who's to say that you know what love is."

She stopped when she heard the disturbed pattern of running footsteps come after her.
Sighing she turned around, not forgiving, and very unhappy. "Why do you follow me around, so? Wouldn't you understand by now that I don't like you?"
She was surprised to hear the truth finally come out of her mouth, yet she wasn't shamed to hear herself say it.

shincho smirked and said "didn't you hear what i said before about love. they try and try again to get the one they love to love them back. That's why i keep following you because i'm going to keep trying."

Atara rolled her eyes, letting his words pass her like rumor. "I don't have time for something as silly as love."
She walked, hurrying her pace, keeping herself calmer than normal. "I first came here to seek the Hokage's help." She immediatly stopped walking and stood in the same spot. "I-I-I'm on an assasign mission right now." Atara whispered as she turned to face Shincho.
"The longer I stay, the more I endanger the mission."

Atara sighed as she reached into her weapon pouch and pulled out a rolled piece of paper that was tied with a string. "Bad at lying, huh?" She withdrew her arm to him and allowed him to see the secret documentation.
