She walked on the quiet rode, admiring the sounds of nature, and all the different shades of greens. She then decided while she walked she would write a song. She looked around to get an idea of what to write about. She began to sing to herself, Colours of light, that lead the way, the birds they marvel and what the tree's say. We watch them soar, carelessly, we wish we could be so free. Their language spoke, but not understood, though the sounds are soothing echoing in the woods, I could fall to the grass and lay all day, it would be a dream that would never go away...
She nodded to herself liking what she came up with, she walked pretty far not realizing and decided to turn back to head back into the park, she then said, "Okay Buttons, lets turn around and head back now." Buttons barked and listened and turned around and they continued on their path back.

Brooke rode standing up. She had forgotten the real term for it. It was fast. She sat down for going down a hill, enjoying the wind. Well except for the fact that it was oushing her jacket back, so cold-ness much. Well too late to remember to zip it up. So what to do today? I could go to the 'dojo' and tease Ryan. Nah he's getting enough crap from other people... Not that he doesn't deserve it, the idiot. Or I could make sure les twins don't get a fish hook in their fingers... Nah. OO! I could-- No. Just no.

They soon reached the entrance back into the park and before they knew it were back at the cottage. She tied buttons up on the lawn so she could be outside, for she was going to go ride around on her bike for a bit. She left some food and water for her out, and gave her a bone to keep her happy for a couple of hours.
She hopped on her bike and got on the gravel rode she begun to ride around dodging the little kids, or whatever else seemed to cross her way. She would begin to speed up and go no hands, it was more to impressive people, she loved the looks that the little kids marveled at.
After about an hour riding got boring, she went back to her cottage where Buttons was still munching on her bone, it was quite large and would take her a few hours. She then decided to take a small hike in the back forest she be gone for awhile, and maybe find a nice fort to hang out in. Off she went to adventure in the forest for a few hours, she brought her cell in case her parents got home before she got back.

Brooke pretty much just rode around until it was time to go back for lunch. She jumped off her bike at the cabin, ignoring the general pain from her legs. 3+ hours of riding can do that to you. She was amazed to see all four of her siblings back already. And cooking. "OK, who are you and what have you done with the Murphy Clan??" "In the closet." "I can't tell you, you might tell THEM." "The Mob does not share it's secrets with commoners." "I dunno, they might be swimming with the fishies..." She ignored the responses and checked on the food.

Erin was back at the site, doing the usual, nothing but talking and other assorted things. Okay really she was mixing cement, cleaning tools, fetching tools, bringing drinks, supervising, yelling etc. Nothing really that important. Her dad was making hamburgers! It was a Friday, so it was BBQ day. Where dad would just cook crap loads of food, and everyone would eat it. He blew the whistle and work would stop of like an hour and they would just talk and eat. Erin was on her third hamburger, some were on like their sixth, when dad ran out of propane. So lunch was basically over and work continued. Now that she wasn't hungry, the day seemed a lot better.

Brooke caught the mail bundle Will chucked at her head. "You'll have to be faster than that..." She opened it up and skimmed past junk mail, bill, magazine, bill, junk, junk, French penpal (she pulled that out and stuck it on the table), and a flyer. "Hey guys, they're putting out flyers for the neighborhood grill thingie. 'Interaction with new and old neighbors and visitors to our fair Pine Valley...' Joyous. Remind me to catch the flu..." "Oh shut up Brooke. You know you like the food. And besides... What if there's a cute guy??" Molly got stars in her eyes. Brooke hit her head on the wall. 10 years old and already... Shudder. "That would be your department Momo. If anything, I'd come to STOP you. Hey, lunch is done. If I turn around and the table isn't set, you all owe me 50 push-ups." There was a sudden scramble behind her, so she took her time turning around.

She walked through the bushes, the cracking of twigs under her weight and the crumpling of leaves. She pushed hanging branches out of her way, and would stop and just admire. Such a dark shaded place, and then some spots where a hint of light shone through lighting up an area, as if it was a new life.
Soon enough she found an opening and it was perfect, perfect for a fort that is, and coincidently there was a tree dead center of the area. She decided to look around and find some large logs to start off. It was hard with only one person, but soon as that neighbour girls of hers come back, she can introduce herself and drag her out here, she seems like the type that would love this. She started it dragging some logs and leaning them against the tree she managed to get to solid large ones around. She found some very rope like twigs and pulled them apart, they became a strong string/rope. She managed to hop up the tree, and tie this string around the four branches to keep the secure, she figured she leave that for now, until she got some extra help.
She knew no one would bother with it because no one really went in the forest. This surprisingly took her a few hours so she decided to head back and see if her parents were home.

Erin joyously heard the whistle. 3 o'clock time to go. "MATTHEW!" Matt ran barking into the trunk and Erin tied him down so he'd be safe and Erin slammed the door of the pickup, turning up some song on the radio. Her dad laughed and the guys waved him off. He told them bye and drove home. "You know the neighbour beside us has a girl your age ish. Reily I think her name is. The neighbour beside her has like 5 kids. I haven't met them yet..." He trailed off, seeing as Erin looked like she didn't really care.

The five had seperated. Brooke was teaching Molly self-defense and the boys were having bonding time. Their mom made sure they did "real stuff" with their time. So they taught each other things and faught. Yeah, that was what the boys were doing. They were in the lawn, so Brooke was partly glad most of the neighbors were gone, partly sorry for any neigbor that had to resort to watching them.

She got back, and walked to her cottage as she figured her parents were home. Her dad was grilling on the bbq and her mom was relaxing on the porch as Buttons sniffed around on the grass. Reily walked onto the grass, "Hey mom and dad, how was work?" Her mom said it was busy and her dad said a pain in the a** as usual she laughed and greeted Buttons as well who was excited to see her.
Her dad yelled out, "Hey Rei! I'm cooking up some baked garlic potatoes, boiling some corn on the cob and some pork chops, you gonna have some right?" Reily was practically drooling by the food and proclaimed, "Hell ya!! Sounds awesome!" Her dad laughed and continued grilling. Reily mom read her book and had her feet rested up relaxing. She was drinking a Tim Hortons coffee and minding her own business.
Reily sat down on a lawn chair around the fire and stretched out. She sat being bored for sometime. Then Buttons picked up a ball and started wrestling with it. She got up from the chair and decided to play fetch with Buttons, it took more then 10 minutes to get the ball but when she did she began throwing it for her. She was having fun and wasting time till dinner. She went and dug in her shred for a baseball mit she was pitching it to Buttons, and then when Buttons would return it she would toss it in her hand for a bit. To practice her glove catching, it drove Buttons crazy, she always thought it was rather amusing.

Brooke dropped down and swug her leg out trying to trip Jack. Unfortunatly, that was one of her more favorite moves, so he knew how to avoid it. They were being bored and having a mock battle. Brooke and the twins versus the two older boys. Their mom had come home about two minutes ago and was watching them while the charcoal burned, amused. They were having the first grill out of the summer, very important and symbolic and stuff. "Hey Mom! Did you get the corn on the cob??" "Check! And I bought extra butter!" "WHOOT!! Hear that Will? We're having CORN to-night!" "The official dedicated carnivore of this family is not interested." "Loser." Brooke stuck her tounge out at him and chucked a rock at his head, which he promptly ducked.

Before she knew it dinner was ready, she placed Buttons inside the cottage and sat at the outside table on the deck. Her dad dished out the food, plates etc. She stabbed the two ends of the butter and salted cob and took a large bite out of it, braces or not she didn't care. It tasted so good, she quickly inhaled that, and then ate the potatoes and ate some of the pork chop. She had a few more corn on the cobs after that, since they were so good.
She finished dinner and helped clean up. She then decided to take a ride on her bike. She hopped on and began riding down the path. Something had caught her eye. Well not something...someone. She rode by examining the lad. He was in the park hanging out with some other kids. He had short brown hair, a light five o'clock shadow, it looked like greenish eyes, and an average build. She didn't know why but he stood out and she rode around again just to get a peek. One of the friends noticed her staring and hit him and pointed to her, she quickly rode off telling myself she was an idiot. She shook her head but was happy, she was going to meet this guy soon enough!

Erin was back home and it was 5 ish. She was taking Matt for a walk on her bike. She saw the girl called Reily biking towards her really fast, glad Matt was on the right and she was on the left. Moron. Erin thought to herself as they got closer. She could hit something at that speed.

She saw that girl again and her dog, she zoomed by but then stopped with a skid titling her bike to the side. She turned and said, "No I can't hit something with that speed, she stared at her and continued, Cause this is me going slow..." She then placed her foot on the pedal and took off back toward the path to the cottage, no one knew some of the unique things about her, soon enough some one might, and think...before they think.
She got back to the cottage and put her bike away on the bike rack. It was going to rain tonight, but her bike was shielded by the trees. She got together some old timmy's cups, she was going to go worm hunting tonight. It was something to do. She went inside and played psp as she waited patiently for the the rain to come.

"Well arn't you just a special little b****" Erin was kinda pissed and looked at Matt, who didn't care anyway. They rode back to the tree and then went back home. After tarping her bike, she went inside to bed, dad still hadn't got that net connection jacked in yet and she was already missing she few friends she had. She closed her eyes waiting for sleep to claim her.
