Rainy Days With Tea

PostPosted: Wed Dec 02, 2009 7:11 pm

Everything's so dank here... Rosslyn looked up at the blank ceiling, feeling an unearthly chill enveloping her slim frame. She shivered, brushing a hand through her green hair. At least they treat me decently, the thought as she wandered the corridors aimlessly. Not paying attention, she nearly walked into a bulkhead. "Geez," she grumbled aloud. "Can this place get any uglier?" Without a touch of nature to be seen, Rosslyn grumbled, absently touching the peach blossoms embroidered into the soft green strands. She immediately felt comforted by their soft touch.

Vragen seemed to fall down, but caught himself, passing it off as if he were attempting to kneel down before Jet, "Forgive the questioning, but wouldn't it be better for one such as I, a former master of the demonic arts, to control the power of Hades?" He was fine with taking the power of Ares, but the control of demons that came with Hades's power would be much more suited to his specialty.

As Jet rose Kioko, Vragen found this a bit strange, but smiled, "Sadistic, evil, I love it!" He shouted. "Still," He spoke up, "Regardless of the powers I have, I would request that you allow me to go after them myself. I will gladly bring that group back to you alive, minus the Martian, for you to do as you wish."

"True as your reasoning is, that is, unfortunately, impossible. The power of Hades is locked within me and cannot be removed without me dying. I would not care to die again, if you could call me living right now. Ares is more demon and uses more of the demonic arts than Hades anyway."
Jet smiled at Vragen's willingness to fight those that were now Jet's opposition.
"I would love to let you, but I take no chances on failure. Besides, my being there is still an enormous demoralization to them and they will not know my powers since they have changed."
Just then an ethereal spirit glided through the door and spoke to Jet, telling Jet that there was someone else...someone new in the base.
"Vragen, there is someone here in the base. I don't know her and I doubt you do either. As soon as your strength is back, go find out who it is."

Rosslyn looked up with surprise at Jet's voice. The ethereal being was truly stunned at the sound of his voice.

(For clarification, has Vragen already received the power of Ares, or is that still yet to come.)

Vragen nodded at Jet, "Alright," He said, reluctantly, "I can accept this power. Yet still, I would rather have my revenge on my own, I can bring them back." He then observed the ethereal being as it came into the room and spoke with Jet.

At Jet's command, Vragen stood up, and, in a burst of dark red fire, he created a sword, much similar to his old one, except with a red serpent with a hook tail on the blade, and a pentagram on the hilt. "I shall exterminate this pest for you." He said with an evil laugh as he ran off in the direction that he was told the person was.

"Pest?!" Rosslyn echoed, "I'm a prisoner!" Backing away slowly, she formed a seal with her hands, melding seamlessly into the darkness.

As soon as Rosslyn melded into the darkness she'd be surrounded by spirits from all directions. Their faces showed pure despair, torment, and never-before-see anger. These spirits were the true vision of horror and would probably force Rosslyn out of the shadows.

Vragen cared not to hear the answer that Rosslyn would give. He instead just started walking in the direction that her voice had come from, a sadistic smile showing on his face. If she was forced out of the shadows, chances are, she would be forced to run right out in front of him. Otherwise, Vragen would just charge in and find her.

Letting out a yelp, Rosslyn released the charm, staring, openmouthed, at Vragen and Jet. She was at a major disadvantage now. Use her powers and live, then get recaptured and killed, or not use them, use brute force, and die. Painfully and slowly. She clenched her hands into fists. "Of you," the dryad said.

Vragen was quite confused by this statement. Still, he could feel the power he had been given just coursing through his being, he wanted to fight. Yet, he placed his sword up on his shoulder and looked back at Jet, still wearing his blood lust on his face.

"Shall I just kill her, sir? Or simply leave her harmed, but alive?" He questioned. Still, he was ready to strike at her as soon as she moved.

Rosslyn grinned, "And you can try to harm me," she said dismissively, playing with her hands, "and end up with an arm less than you remember."

Vragen laughed as she said this, "How cute, it thinks it can hurt me!" He said in a very condescending tone. "Listen up, little girl, you best just keep your mouth shut so that I won't be forced to chop it off!" He said, suddenly sounding serious. He began to move his sword so that he was better prepared to strike as soon as he is set off, which wouldn't take much.

Rosslyn narrowed her eyes. "'It' happens to be a Harman," she said with a dark glare in her green eyes.

Jet seemed to materialized in between, but off to the side of the two. His eyes were closed and he didn't breath. No smell came from him and nor did his heart beat. Jet was the perfected embodiment of death itself.
"I do not recall taking a prisoner, but if you insist on being a prisoner then so be it. You will be monitored where ever you go, even the bathroom. One of my spirits will watch you at all times. Do not worry, the spirit will only touch you if you try to run. You will never see this spirit nor will you hear, smell, or touch it. It will be an unseen guardian, protector, and handler of yours. However, if you chose to run.."
Jet smiled and opened his eyes. His gaze went over Rosslyn once before flicking to Vragen.
"My friend here will kill you slowly. You have signed a compact with death and my grip is never weakened or broken by any."User Image

Vragen's sword slacked and his grip weakened and his smile disappeared, "Aww, you mean I only get to kill her if she tries to run?" He questioned, in a tone almost like a child about throw a fit. While he wasn't going to let on to this, he was a bit jealous of the spirit. Still, he was about to charge out into the desert and kill people, that would make it all better.
