Reaper of Eternal Darknes darkmage530 Reaper of Eternal Darknes darkmage530 xLedahx darkmage530 You're kidding right... Majora's mask? The 3D Zelda's in Order of enjoyability. 1. Occarina of Time 2. Twilight Princess 3. Windwaker 4. Majoras Mask I despised Majora's Mask. UGH Just thinking about it makes my head hurt. I absolutly hated the whole time aspect of three day cycles. It was the most annoying bullshit ever. I mean overall it was a pretty decent game but the 3 days AHH! And Windwaker was more enjoyable but it's biggest flaw was I got bored of just riding places all the time. 50 mintues to sail from one island to the next (exaggeration) ugh. I havn't yet finished twilight princess because I don't have a wii in college right now (nor a Gamecube) but when I go back home to my Wii I'll finish it up. Occarina of Time = Best Zelda game = Greatest Game of All Time no questions asked. It has received many Perfect Scores from many magazines sites and was the first perfect score from Famitsu with perfect scores from Gamespot, IGN, and EGM. It is ranked In the Top 10 of nearly EVERY Greatest Games List. Another aspect that makes the game so endearing and great is that it was one of the first games that brought 3D to the forefront of the Industry. Super Mario 64 Opened the door and made 3D the next step, then OoT Took that door and used a Bomb-chu to obliterate it. Even now I think graphically and control, the game is superior to games from today. Majora's mask can't say what OoT can. It was merely a sequel, a rehash of the same thing with differences. They took and used the engines from OoT and so Majora's mask can Never be above or even equal to OoT. It didn't reinvent anything, or change the Video Game industry forever. I will say it again, The Legend of Zelda was, is, and always will be Perfection in Video Games. And NO game will EVER surpass it in excellence. u hate majors mask cuz u hate to think understand... u hate windwaker for the long trips... understand.. u havent finished twilight princess cuz of college .. understand more... ocarina of time... no comment.. conclusion ... u like the old golden days... the simple go to a temple n win the puzzle.. the oddly quick trips to get there, when all this time they have been there ... coolio^0^ umm No, I like Thinking it's just Majora's mask is a pain. You have to do what you need to in the 3 days, you can only do certain things on certain days and many times in a certain order. Then everytime you restart the three day cycle you lose all your held rupees, bombs, kegs, arrows and other quantity specific items. So then it's a pain to recollect stuff for the temples. And That stupid water temple was the worst temple I've ever done. My favorite part of Majora's mask was turning into a Goron and rolling around everywhere. haha. *struggles to understand what you're getting at* Every Zelda game is you do puzzles then go to a temple or dungeon, complete some puzzles and defeat a boss get a collection item... do some side quests and go to the next temple. They are all that way, not just Occarina of Time. And your other part, yes The Golden Days when games were FUN and Enjoyable. When we played video games because it was fun, not because the graphics were pretty or because it has been hyped more then Star Wars 15. When games were judged on control scheme, story, and being just Fun. When sequels were a bit more rare, originality was a common trait, and playing split screen was the most amazing thing since the Atari 2600. If by "Old Golden Days" you meant the peak of the video game era, then Yes Definitly I love it 100 times more then the current day video game market. EA is going to be the death of the industry, Money hungry corporation scum bags are going to flood the market with crap and we are going to have another Video Game Industry Crash like what happened in 1983/1984. And Nintendo may not be there this time on a white horse to carry the industry back from the grave. the classics were incredible i played the games when i was 3 they were amazing and now some gamesare still being great but some are just pathetic now of makers only caring for the graphics nothing about how great the gameplay or story are but some do still LoZ,mario, and fire emblem, kirby, there still the same or DK his games are just stupid after the 64. Notice a trend with the games you mentioned? I did! LoZ=Nintendo, Mario=Nintendo, Fire Emblem=Nintendo, Kirby=Nintendo, DK=Nintendo... hmm coincidence I THINK NOT! Face it, Microsoft and Sony do not want to give the gamer a great experience, they look for profits. Nintendo, yes they want money too but they have a priority which is giving to the gamer. A company can't be successful unless it provides something for the customer and Nintendo clearly does a better job then any of it's competition. The only problem is people who play video games for the image. They go and buy all xbox's and sony's and claim it's awesome. They jack up sales of these crap games and crap systems. And will eventually kill off the only good in the gaming industry, Nintendo. "Oh ya I play Grand Theft Auto 8 I love killing people" ... Ya GTA 3 was amazing, Vice City was good... and then it just became over done. Too many people play these games just so they can say they have or so they can have that gamer image. These are the same people who say Halo 3 is the greatest game ever or that Nintendo is for little kids. These people have no idea what they are talking about. First off Halo isn't the greatest game ever, it's not even the best Shooter Ever. Secondly Nintendo is the best company (tied with Blizzard). The original Half Life, The Original Doom/Doom 2, Golden eye are the best shooters ever. Sorry this rant isn't directed at anyone in particular it's just the current "gamer" is so mislead and confused. I hate it when I show one of my friends Occarina of Time or Sonic on the Genesis and they say they can't play it because the graphics are too bad. I want to smack them all when they say that. The important aspects of Games in order of importance are 1. Enjoyability 2. Control 3. Gamedesign 4. Plot/purpose/story 5. Sound/Music 6. Replayability 7. Characters 8. Graphics For each person these may be reworked and re-ordered those are just my preferences. But #1, #2, and #3 should NEVER be changed. If you are playing a game and feel it's lacking in Any of those three it can NOT be a good game. 4 - 8 are all nice but not necessary. Look at Tetris or Space Invaders. AMAZING games. They meet critera #1, #2, and #3 perfectly. There is little plot, the original games had little of sound, no chracters, crappy graphics, but very strong replayability. Yet historically Tetris is one of the Best selling Games of all time. It has been held in awe by game creators and used as a model for nearly EVERY SINGLE PUZZLE GAME SINCE. As with Space Invaders, it is an Epic game which ensnared millions of people around the world. I would much rather play my #10 game on my Favorites List. Warlords for the Atari 2600. And I'm dead serious, that is one of my top 10 favorite games of all time. I would much rather play that then anything of nowadays which has hyped amazing graphics. So? Me: "Is it fun, oh just mildy fun... then I'll pass" Sorry I really went off on a rant there. I miss the fun gaming days. Before we had 50 sports titles coming out EVERY year... and always appearing on the best selling list. I liked it when games were original, different, unique. There are too many cookie cutters out there. One reason I love the classics, most of the games in my top 10 are very original and unique games. Oh and Reaper in in the Brawl thread, to answer your question. Yup changed the avie, figured it was about time to go for something new. What do you think? I thought it was quite original smile yep im with you on all those things so many ppl keep saying nintendo is for little kids but there so wrong like som of my friends say that and one of them acts like he knows evrything lol Just because Mario doesn't pick up a sword and cut Goombas in half doesn't make him a pansy. Some people just don't get it. All we can do is try and show them the light and hope that in the afterlife Miyamoto has mercy on their soul. Tell your friends that Miyamoto doesn't like Pagan worshippers (also known as sony/microsoft fan boys)

Currently addicted to Modern Warfare 2 and Fable 2.
As for Mario SUnshine, when it's the only game ya got and you're bored to death it can be pretty fun. I don't think I ever found all of the sun stars or whatever they were.
