if this keeps up i will be the end of this country and of this era, and i just can't predict what the next one will be like or that the next one will be better.

I don't know that any of our new candidates can bring the US back to it's former glory. We'll have to wait another four to eight years, at least.

Agreed. There were people who actually liked Bush during the election in 2000 and look where he's gotten us. Now all the candidates are equally disagreeable...I think they are going to be worse than Bush.
