"As some of you might know, there is a serial killer on the loose in this country by the name of Michael Hoffman. He has killed over 100 people including every single police officer that has ever tried to catch him. We can't affort to lose another one of our men and women, and so we are asking you -all serial killers yourselves- to help us." The officer paused to let the inmates take it all in. When no one responed he continued.
"You all have had more than enough experience in this area of expertise, so you should be able to think like this killer. Not only are we asking you for advice on how Michael's mind works, but we are offering you a chance to go after him yourselves. If you comply, you will be provided with a car, all information we have on this man and we will inform every police station across the country that you are out of jail to help us so that you will not be arrested during the time you are searching for Michael. As well you will be given a weekly sum of money to be spent on food, lodging and gas and on no account are you to spend it on anything else. You will be limited, though." The officer pointed at Jake. "Jacob..."Jake rolled his eyes. It's Jake! he thought. "As we don't know if you are likely to take up your former habit again, in which if you did it would impair your driving skills, you are forbidden to be found behind the wheel of the car we are giving you five, as well you are not permitted to handle any money given to you." Jake groaned. The officer pointed at Sam and Nova. "As you are prone to getting into fights with people, you are not permitted to be alone at any time nor are you permitted to talk to anyone, even if it is a clerk at a grocery store, just in case an argument is to arise. Fredrick, like Jake you are not permitted to handle the money given considering your lack of responsibility with it." The officer sighed and looked at K-Nex.
"You. K. Unless the need to handle computers should arise you have no limit. But if we find that you have begun hacking and ripping off people again we will arrest you immediatly. And that goes for all of you. Should any of you ignore any of these limits or conditions, you will all find a one way ticket back to this pennitentiary with a life sentece slapped on each of your backs." He opened the door holding out a set of keys to a Toyota Matrix and gave it to K-Nex."You can drive, can you not?" he asked, dropping it in his hands when he nodded. "Remember you are all working together. Wherever one of you goes, all of you go. No one is to be left alone as you all are still considered at risk of reoffending your murder crimes. Patrol vehicles will be instructed to keep an eye on you every so often and as you cross each state in your search a patrol officer will ask you to come out of the car to check up on you. You are no exception to the law, so if you are caught speeding you will be fined, and if you are caught trying to scam people you will be arrested. Any questions?"

"........understood......." Nova said

"That's why we will have undercover agents and police cruisers keeping an eye on you in every state and city just in case." A thought crossed his mind and he left the room for a moment, coming back with a slim black briefcase. "K, perhaps you would be more persuaded if you were in charge of the looking up information on Michael?" He opened the briefcase to reveal a proffesional looking red-backed laptop. "Keeping in mind though that we have already programmed the computer to crash if its user happened to...how shall i put it....try anything stupid. let's put it at that. Alright, a couple officers and i will escort you out of the building and to your car. For the first bit you will be followed by an unmarked police cruiser and a radio has been installed inside your vehicle so that you can stay in contact with us. Remember, if any of you try to do anything stupid you will arrested immediatly and won't see the light of day for a very very long time. Now," he scanned the room. "Come with me and we'll get started."

"So, I have no restrictions???"He said to the officer walking out of the cell

The officer looked at Fred and raised an eyebrow.
"Apparently you weren't listening to me. I had mentioned that, you, like Jake you are not permitted to handle the money given considering your lack of responsibility with it. So yes you have a restriction."Noticing the eager glint in K-Nex's eye he handed the briefcase containing the laptop over to him and opend the door outside. A shiny black Toyota Matrix rested by the curb. Another officer opened the door to the passenger's seat and motioned for K to get into the driver's side.

"yeah dont you dare touch me, freak" Sam said, stepping into the car

"why would I even want to touch you? I'm just trying to keep my computer shiny. Hey, do you think I should name her N? K and N. That sounds nice!"
