oh man. so for tag day me and my other guard friend rang the doorbell of this one house.
and a little boy looked out the window on the side of the door and yelled to his mom
"MOMMY! THE GENIE GIRLS ARE AT THE DOOR! WHAT DO I DO?!"
i hate the pants with a passion.
i hope the dry cleaner ruins them. scream

lol, genie girls! Hahaha!
Mm.... last fall they were red unitards with long sleeves and skirts the went almost all the way around.... hard to explain... we called them butt-flaps, lol...
Last winter they were these hidous eggplant-colored dresses with rhinestones, spaghetti straps, and a slanted skirt that only looked good on the really skinny girls. rolleyes I hated them.
This fall they're red unitards - again - with long mesh sleeves with white cording. That's all I know. We haven't gotten them yet, but they should be arriving sometime this week. For our performances up until now, we;ve had to wear black spandex shorts (gotta love 'em! rolleyes ) and red polos with the Kings Band logo on them. So hot.... xp

so yeah.....my pants dont balloon anymore! the closet moms adjusted the waist so they actually fit now!
well thats good and all but......so i get off the bus at the competition site on oct 1st.....im talking to my friends and stuff when all of a sudden i hear a mom shriek.
"YOUR PANTS! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR PANTS?!"
and the band turns around and the other moms come to take a look at my rear end......so much poking and prodding and patting of the left side of my butt sweatdrop
its not like there was a hole so you could see my body suit thing under it.....it was more like if you stick the hard side of velcro or something sticky to cloth and then the individual threads come out......
so yeah.....they hairsprayed it down. then they were like "GET IN YOUR SPOTS!" and we marched up to the area we were going to practice at to psyche all of the other bands out.....i march past the head closet mom and she whimpered and looked like she was going to cry.
i was like that for the whole competition. then i went and made the other side dirty when i tripped backfield and landed on my butt.
there was supposed to have been a halftime performance this past friday, but it was raining like a mofo so the bd was like "marching band, you get to stay home! see you at practice on tuesday!" so i have yet to figure out what im going to have to do about my pants for the competition this coming saturday. *sigh* why does it always happen to me?

Our uniforms are red dresses with spegetti-straps. The dresses are about ankle-length, a bit longer on me since I'm short. I don't loke them at all. Last year, I had a black leotard with a short skirt. It had gold sequens on the top, around the neck, and the bottom of the skirt. I'll take a picture of it...sometime. I like that one SOOO much better. Hopefully next year our uniforms won't look like prom dresses.

Last year, I had a black leotard with a short skirt. It had gold sequens on the top, around the neck, and the bottom of the skirt. I'll take a picture of it...sometime. I like that one SOOO much better. Hopefully next year our uniforms won't look like prom dresses. o_O Oh, gosh.. I don't even wanna think about ever twirling in a big poufy prom dress...

I actually like our uniforms this year, the top is a sleevelss turtle neck leotard and over that we have a black and gold corset which is really sexy, i love it, it has the strings and everything, then on the bottom we wear tight pants that bind our our legs, i dont remember what they are called and then over that we wear this skirt that has see though fabric that is tinted black and gold its really pretty.

It isn't really poofy. The dress my avy has on is actuall kind of similar to it, except without the slit and with straps. I just don't like wearing dresses.

+..oOAngel_KitsuneOo..+ wow! you are in kings? My instructor Denise is from there!! She was in guard there. I am in Milford ohio colorguard!! biggrin I saw your winterguard show. our summer uniform is a red polo shirt too!!!! xp xp xp
Anyway, our uniforms have come in since I last posted, so I have more info about them now. They're red velvet with white velvet lines that criss-cross them in sevreal places. The sleeves are irredescent red and black with more white lines. The worst part of them is the white lines cross in the crotch, so when we dance and stretch we get wedgies in places we didn't know we could get them. xp
The look cool, though.

I wear black leotard (sp?) with black pants over them (SPAANDEX haha).
and i wear a very shiny vest with a cool tie thingy in my hair. Oh and band shoes. ;D
For makeup:
Black eyeliner, silver/blueish eyeshadow, RED lipstick, blush, annd mascara.
xd I don't wear makeup so i have hard times applying the eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow.

I personally heart heart heart our outfits. They are black and silver with rinestones, but we do gey called the clay puddies from the power rangers, though. but I still heart them.

WINTER OUTFITS!!!
They haven't told us what they are yet, but the floor is going to be orange-red colors and our director mentioned while we were working out she wanted to see abs this year. Then our flag tech told us the one they were looking at was two pieces (she wasn't supposed to tell us anything, but we won't tell Jen.....).
