accually i beleive that was jello biafra and mojo nixen that did that song. jello of course being the singer of the dead kennedys. but him and mojo, a highy listened to artist around college campuses, wrote that song with him. jello does some stupid lyrics though. like the song about destroying mailboxes. i like his song with mojo(i think it was with mojo, either him or the melvins) about drinking with jesus

MaDMiDgEt Can anyone think of a band that is towards the top of your favorites list that also happens to have a song that is on the bottom of your favorites list? Like "Dood, that band rocks so hard...but what is up with that oe song of theirs??" Yeah, we all know bands like that. I'm looking for examples from you. I may catch some hate for this, but despite how much I love Blindside, I cannot stand their song "Hooray, It's L.A." I think it's absolute crap, but I think everything else Blindside has written is frikkin amazing. So what are some your picks? i have to agree with you cuz alot of new bands get so in the "mood" and get all cocky about it so they end up writting like crap cuz they think they are so cool and that kinda stuff

I like evanescence but their lyrics are depressing. I'm sorry but I do not wish to commit suicide.

the killers-smile like you mean it
i hated that song but loved others such as "sopmebody told me" and "mr. brightside"
also i like older children of bodom and older stratovarius....
stratovarius "maniac dance" never sounded like strat.(including the singer) so i was real suprised.

The Vandals from the "Vandals Good, Hitler Bad" cd - most of their cd's are really good, but on that one, there is the song about finding a $20 that he thought he lost under the sofa....grinds my nerves!!!! evil rolleyes
When you turn over the cd, you can see I listen to it alot EXCEPT that one particular song.

The vandals... hmmm... they've always been a semi-interesting/humourous band for me. If I want serious punk though (not saying that the vandals never have any serious themes), the vandals would probably be one of the last bands I'd listen to.
