Estel's gentle tears trickled down unto this chest and into his wounds. A bright light encased the wounds as they began to heal. Her tears brought life back into his body. He opened his eyes as he saw her weeping over him. "Cry not, my lady, for life hath retuned to me. It is by thy tears of healing that I have been reborn."
Estel looked into his eyes as she saw the reflection of her future. She knew now what she must do. She was, however afriad of making a decision of such importance. Siligon stood up and gazed at his healed wouds with amazement. "T'is not your tears that hath healed me but thy love. Hide it no further Estel. I know what thou art thinking." Estel looked him in the eyes and was about to say something until she stepped back as if to rethink and then said "Siligon, we cannot be. We come from two different backgrounds and belong to our people."
Siligon replied in a desperate voice "We would not leave our people. I have always been alone and have loved it. Yet I feel strangely connected to you as if we were destined to be together. Is it so my lady?" Estel was battling herself in her mind.
She did not know what she really wanted. "No! We can not! We must not! Siligon, I love thee but we can never be. I have a dark and cold past that I cannot unleash upon thee." "What past is that? Tell me or I shall never leave thee!" Estel was afraid but could not deny him this truth. She began...

She began to tell him about Wilwarin, her love. They were walking through the woods of Lothlorien one day. An orc camp attacked them. They fought valiantly one to the death. While Estel's back was turned, an orc shot an arrow aimed directly at her head. Wilwarin leapt in the air to stop the arrow. It peirced him directly in the heart and he was killed instantaneously.
As she spoke, Siligon just stared in amazement at how emotionally mature she actually was. She had learned to hide her emotions for fear of that happening over again. She tried not to get attatched but Siligon was a special case.

Siligon stood idly as he listened to her story. He felt her voice rising as she remembered her dark past. She was not looking into his eyes. It was as if she was resisting his charm to avoid getting too attached. He knew that one day she will open up her heart and welcome him into her life. For now he stood by and watched in amazement and interest.

Siligon remained silent. Estel turned quickly as a tear rolled down her cheek. She began walking back home, maybe he would forget this ever happened. The pressure was killing her, she couldn't quite think straight. She couldn't decide what she wanted.

Siligon watched as Estel turned and began to walk away. He did not understand why it was so difficult for her to talk about her past. He wanted to help her but didn't want her to get hurt in the process. "Estel! Wait!" he yelled, "Where are you going? You do not need to tell me if you do not wish to. Please don't leave. We must return together to the King's court. Are you injured or can you take the journey?" Siligon stumbled as he felt the pain of his wound. Estel looked back as he fell and groaned in pain.

"Siligon!" she screamed as she ran back towards him. Some force puleld Estel towards her as the sea draws water. She looked at his wound to see that the gash had gotten deeper and was severely bleeding. "Don't worry," she said, "I won't leave you here. I'll make it go away. Jsut don't move." It was amazing how near they were to the stream, she could hear the water runnign the entire time. When she returned from the stream with a damp peice of cloth, Siligon had fallen asleep from his weariness.
Estel sat there and waited for him to arouse. A bird came and sat on her shoulder and spoke with her. It chirping was music to her ears. They both sat there and sang a song about the beauty of the forest of Lorien. Estel was so caught up with her bird friend, she didn't notice that Siligon had awoken and was staring at her.

Siligon woke up and watched as Estel spoke with the bird. He smiled as he turned to face him. "My wound is better now, thank you" he said gratefully. He stood up and walked over to her as he sighed and said "Our adventure has come to an end. We must return and bring tidings to the good King. We must not delay any longer." He turned and gathered his weapons. Their horses were taken by the Orcs when they were captured and had been taken far off to Mordor as bounty. Siligon had not taken his own horse. He rode one provided by the King. He treated his horse as a friend and not as a means of transportation and rarely rode him. He was now needed and Siligon let loose a great whistle that echoed in the wilderness. A while afterwards, Naromar his great steed, arrived and carried the two travellers towards the King's castle. Siligon looked back at Estel as she hung on to his waist. "One day's ride is all we require my lady. Hang on tight."

She watched as the landscape moved by them so quickly. She couldn't help but think about how she didn't want to return home. The sky began to darken slowly as their horse reached the edge of the woods. Siligon got off his horse and said, "are you hungry? There might be a few berry bushes around the corner." Estel shook her head and said that they must get back to the king as soon as possible. Although she did not want to return home, she knew she must for that was where she belonged.

Siligon, regardless of her suggestion, grabbed a sacfull of berries and gave some to her. They rode back soon after they had eaten and hastened their journey. Siligon looked back and smiled at the red ring circling her lips from the berries. She looked as innocent as a child that had eaten a watermelon yet as ravenous as a babarious Orc after a fresh and meaty meal. He was not certain of this new emotion he was beginning to feel. He had spent a long time and journeyed far battling alongside the brave elven maiden of Lothlorien. He knew he had some feelings for her but could not grasp them from his dark and empty heart. Though he could not reveal them, Siligon knew some day he would tell her. Some day, she may love him back.

The fair elven maiden stood tall and graceful as she motioned for Siligon to follow her. She parted the leaves of the trees to find a cool river to drink from. The drank quickly as they continnued their journey to the palace of the King. Estel could tell that they would soon reach his palace and she would be back home in the arms of her family who awaited her arrival.
In the back of her mind, she kept getting a reoccuring idea to run away with Siligon and never return to Lothlorien. Let them think they had died in battle and were eaten by orcs. She quickly waved this thought away, she was being foolish and attempting to put herself before the feelings of others. "But why not?" She thought, it wasn't like anyone else would be looking out for her. She left the thoughts alone in the back of her mind.

Galasriniel was on the side of the rode collecting some fruit near the king's castle. She was a bit scratched up from a recent encouter with a few orcs, but she was fine. As she finished collecting the fruit, she heard the sound of hooves coming up behind her. She turned around to see two other elves riding toward the castle at a gallop. 'I wonder what their hurry is.' she thought to herself as she stepped out of the way.

Siligon remained quiet as he rode with Estel back to Lothlorien. He could not stop thinking of the possibility of a future with Estel yet was reluctant to persue one. He knew that a life with her would strip him of his life of solitary and hardship he had become so accutomed to. He could not put her through the endless misery he knew she would live in. He was a warrior at heart and to war he would march. He could not give her the love and affection she deserves. A tear ran down his cheek as he rode on and attemoted to remain firm.
As they were rushing along the trails to Lothlorien, Siligon noticed a strange-looking Elven maid on the roadside. He stopped and looked down upon her scratched face. He got off and approached her as he asked her what caused her mishaps and where she was going. He hoped there would be something he can do to help her.

She put a hand to her face, slitghly embaressed. "Oh, that? I'm fine, really. Just a couple of Orcs. I've been seeing more of them around lately. I'm Galasriniel." she said to him as she stretched forth her hand and shook his. "Who are you two?"

Estel stepped down from the horse and walked over. She looked tall and strong. "We are on a mission for the King. I am Estel and this is Siligon. What business is it of yours?!" Estel did not know why, but she didn't trust her. She was getting jealous that Siligon seemed to have wanted to jump to her aid. Maybe, she thought, he liked her and everythign else was a li.e She couldn't quite put her finger on it.

She was taken aback for a second by Estel's tone and body language. She seemed to be upset about something. "I was just curious as to your haste." she replied. "I don't often see two elves riding toward the castle at such speed." 'Then again, I don't usually see very many elves at all.' she thought to herself. "It's nice to meet you, Estel and Siligon." she said with a slight bow.
