She smiled as se noticed a slight bit of friendly mocking in his comment. She looked around them, "We could get some rest, or we could explore this place, I suppose." Cathy was still in a little bit of shock where they were, but she was really glad she wasn't alone.

"That sounds good," she smiled as she looked at him. She thought about going to sleep while he found something to eat, and she got a little scared. Her face showed her fear, "You're going to be around when I wake up, right? I really don't want to be here alone."

"Would'nt wana go messin' up fates plan. Thats for the god's to decide." At that instant, Ike took off into the forests with tremendous speeds.

Cathy smiled as Ike left her in front of the hotel; for some reason, she found herself oddly happy she woke up here. She didn't like the idea of having to fight anyone, but she could deal with it if Ike was there. She walked into the hotel and found that same room he had first gone into and found him. There was a small bed in the corner with a couple comfy-looking blankets. She immediately fell asleep in the warmth of the covers and rested like she had never rested before.

Ike dashed through the forest sniffing out food to eat. Wonder what types of food this place has anyway. Ike thought to himself. He stopped near a tree that looked as if it was weilding delicious fruit. "Hmmm...wonder if she likes fruit..." Ike jumped up and used his claws to slice the stem of the fruit and caught a total of five fruit. "Well this should do it. Now I'll get some water." Ike said to himself as he sniffed around for the aroma of mud and fish.

Cathy was deep into sleep when she began to see her parents dying. She didn't remember all that day what had happened before she got here. But now as she lay in the small, comfy bed in the hotel, it was all coming back to her in her sleep. It was her 16th birthday party and no one but her parents were there to celebrate it; she wasn't ever really good at making friends. For all of her life she had been keeping her parents' secert.
They were great witches who had gotten involved with the wrong people; the biggest gang in Southeren California: the Mexican Mafia. Her parents were major drug dealers and had turned on their faith by using it as a loophole to working with "herbs". But once Cathy was born, they knew they had to quit and become pure once more. But they had a problem: the Mexican Mafia was a blood in, blood out kind of gang. They don't like quitters, so they decided to remain in the horrible gang but just downscale their drug sales and eventually they figured they'd be able to retire out of the gang. They knew that this plan might put Cathy in danger, so they used most of their true powers to give Cathy the power to fly as a bird. And it was her 16th birthday where she had to use it.
Some young gang members came busting into their house, yelling and screaming at her parents in Spanish about something. And her mother ran Cathy into her bedroom and told her to fly away, promising she'd call when it was safe, but alos telling her that if she receives no call to never return. So she began to fly, but she heard her father scream and she turned right around and tried to grab her parents. She transformed into an eagle to be able to lift them. She was able to get them into the air with her, but she hadn't thought about the guys having guns; they shot her down and the last thing she saw was her parents being shot cold in the head.
She woke up crying in the hotel room. Ike wasn't there, but she figure he was still out getting food. She sat up and began to work on her powers and tried to think of spells to give her even more power and strength.

Ike was running back to the hotel, now with a sac full of freash water and some fruit. Ike looked down at his food and water. This should be enough for the both of us to survive on for at least three days.
Ike arrived at the hotel and immediately walked to the kitchen to rince off the fruit. If there was one thing Ike knew, it was how to survive in the wilderness. After rinsing off the fruit Ike continued on to the room that he met Cathy in. He guessed right as he walked into the room he saw Cathy upright in the bed. She looked troubled. Almost like she just saw a ghost. Ike knocked on the door anyway to get her attention. "Hey! Either your deep in thought or you've just seen death himself." Ike said entering the room. He set the food and water on a table in the living room. "I got some good stuff! Come see." Ike said waving her over.

Kasanji is strolling through the forest with his hands in is pokets and head down a little low. He starts to get hungry so he searches for food. As a teenager, Kasanji is still somewhat lazy, even in this world, but he can be very creative. Kasanji breaks off a branch on a near-by tree and uses one of his shoe laces to make a line for a make shift fishing pole. He didn't have any bait so he was hoping the fish would not be very smart and take the plastic tip of the shoe lace as bait. So Kasanji throws his line out into the small lake beside him, he sits back, and waits.

Cathy was a little startled when he appeared in her doorway, but really glad he had such perfect timing. She walked over to the table where Ike had sat the food and water down in silence. As she realized what he had said, she replied coldly, "Something like that." She realized how rude she had just came across and bit her lip as she tried to get rid of the thoughts that were running through her head. She looked at the fruit and water and smiled at Ike, "I'm sorry, I was just thinking about my parents and...stuff. Thank you for coming back."

"Of coarse Id return! I said I would didnt I?" He said in a teasing tone. "Well actually I have to go back out. I saw a lake that has some fish in it. I wana head back that way and get some. We need to eat the meat for energy." He said with a smile as he headed for the window. "Ill be back I promise." Ike looked twords the open window and jumped out. As he fell his hair bustled in the wind. He landed without sound, soft and gracefully on the street below. Ike again headed out into the forest and twords a great lake he saw on the way back. Suddenly, Ike stoped abruptly. In the distance Ike saw a young boy sitting by the lake. Ike jumped to the side and hid in the trees. Crap! Is this one real? Ike said to himself as he remembered chasing the little girl just before he met Cathy. Ike walked up slowly to the boy. His steps were so discrete he didnt even hear himself moving. Ike then taped on the boys shoulder. "Um...excuse me..." Ike said politely.

Josh relaxed seeing how an arrow wasn't flying towards his face. He looked around and noticed that the sun had finally set and that there were a set of lights around five or six miles away. He stood up and arched his back. It gave a sharp crack as he started to stretch. He tried to smell if there was food nearby but his human nose couldn't pick anything up. Might as well try and smell with my wolf senses he thought. He looked around and made sure that no one was looking. A gust of wind blew across the grassland, signifying his partial transformation. A pair of wolf ears perked up on his head and his sight, sound and smell were now amplified. He closed his eyes and sniffed the air. The smell of chicken, steak and other delicious meals wafted over the area and his stomach rumbled. He figured there had to be a resturuant or bar somewhere so he started walking towards the town. He started to think about the past as he walked. He only thought of the good times while he was awake.
"Brother!," a female voiced called. "Yes?," josh asked. "Come on! They're heading out on the boats now!," the female voice said. Josh had been in his room relaxing and playing his guitar. The door burst open and sutami stood in the doorway. "Hurry up bro!," she said. "Don't worry! They never leave without me!," he said finishing the song. "Father says that if you don't hurry up, then he will leave you! And I'm pretty sure that he's serious this time!" Josh jumped up and walked to the doorway after putting on his shoes. He was still holding his guitar and his sister asked, "What's that for?" Josh replied by saying, "I need music or it's no where near as fun! And besides everyone likes it when I play and you sing!" "Well you got me there bro!," she said giggling. They both walked out the door and into the warm sun of noon-time. It was ninety degrees easily. Sweat already started forming on his brow as he threw off his shirt. He was wearing a black pair of pants. He wasn't much of a shorts person. They both walked over to the docks that were about five minutes away and found that like he thought, his father hadn't left without him. "Hurry up before I do leave!," his father called to him. His mother giggled a little and said, "I know that you love to play guitar but it's still fun outside that house you know!" They family casted off and the boat flowed down the stream. Another family was on board. It was their family friends. They had known each other for around three years and always did things together. "Well well well!," said a voice. It was soft and delicate. Josh turned to see the daughter of the family standing near him. "If it isn't the handsome Josh!," she said finishing her sentence. Her name was Isabel. She was the same age as Josh and they had known each other for years. She was wearing a pair of red shorts and a bikini top. He had to admit that she looked very attractive. She walked up to him and kissed him. They had been dating for little over two years now. His parents were overjoyed to find that they knew that parents of his girl friend. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. "So you want to try first when we get there?," he asked her. They were on the river to just take a load off from the tough week. They just wanted to have some fun. "You mean me go first and smoke you again?," she said giggling. "You cheated that time!," he replied back. She shook her head in mock disappointment. "Jealous!," she said. He laughed and hugged her tightly. ((Now back to the other scheduled program!))
Josh managed to make it to the town once mid-night struck. It was a nice town despite it's size. The Gothic architecture of the church and large inns made a nice effect on the cool wind of the evening. He walked into the first eating establishment that he saw. "How many?," the waiter asked. "One," he replied back. "We can seat you immediately!," the man said. He lead him to one of five tables. He noticed that all of the other tables were empty except for one where a group of men sat making light conversation. He sat at his table and ordered a bottle of saki to start his evening. He waited for the man to come back with his bottle.

Kasanji looked back to see what was poking at his shoulder. It was Cat person thing. He forgot that there were demons and ceatures in the new world. Kasanji stands up and greets the creature with a hello. "My name is Kasanji. I come from a world called Earth. How I got here...I dont even know. What is your name?"

((BOUT FREAKING TIME!!!))
The waiter arrived with the saki after a short time. He took a coin out of his pocket and flipped it towards the man. "Something for your troubles," Josh said. "Thank you sir! So would you like anything else?," the man asked. Josh could tell that he was a little happier than when he found him. "I would like one steak please." "Right away sir!" He watched the man walk off towards the kitchen. It was then that he noticed that the people at the table were giving him strange looks. He heard one of them whisper, "Isn't that one of the regeki clan memebers?" He heard the other man say, "Appears that way. Half wolf and half vampire. From what I heard though I thought that they were slaughtered by the lord of this here town!" Josh's heat flared as he shouted, knocking over the table, "Where is the b*****d?" The men became terrified and one answered in a shaky voice. "I heard one of the men that attacked your village is living in the large cathedral over in the center of town." Josh clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. He sat back at the table after standing it back up again. The b*****d's close! he thought with anger running to the core of his body. He swore that after he ate, he would find and kill the man. He tried to stomp out the thoughts of vengance in his mind by thinking about that trip again.
"So now why do you have your guitar?," Isabel asked. Josh grabbed it and started playing a simple tune to relax to. He heard sutami ask, "So what song do you want to play first?" "How about Time?," he asked. Isabel came and sat on his lap. He thought about it. It was a simple song and it was fun and easy to play. Isabel realized that he was about to play and she got up and stood next to sutami. They both had angelic voices and after he played the opening, they sang, captivating everyone in the area.
"Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but its sinking And racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in the relative way, but youre older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the english way The time is gone, the song is over, thought Id something more to say
Home, home again I like to be here when I can And when I come home cold and tired Its good to warm my bones beside the fire Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells."
Everyone clapped after it was over and the three of them bowed.
Josh's steak came to the table and he slowly started to eat his food. He felt a little better but he felt more sorrow than happiness. Sorrow wrapped itself in his heart and he began to feel depressed. everyone...sutmai was killed in a horrifying way and Isabel hadn't been see again. They said they later found her body the same as Sutami's but she was twice as bad. He didn't think about the grisly details for fear of losing it in public.
