"He might know or we could ask your mother since shes been around longer." He replied looking at her now as he tried to figure out why the humans would attack eatch other under such a pretty thing. "Or we could ask one of our humans why they do that."

Calisto nodded some, she knew Luna wouldn't be home for a while... "I guess we could ask my mother... Do you know where she is?" Murring softly, Calisto moved to close the book. It was a bit on the heavier side, but they's have to bring it with them.

"Well she had said that she would come over here a few minutes after me to see you." Fayte replied thinking for a moment and noticed that Calisto needed some help to get the book. "I could help you if you want." He meowed to her as he walked over towards the book and her.
Nelon glanced around as she reached the door to her daughters house and pawed the door slightly to open it. "Calisto, are you here!" She mewed inside as she padded quietly inside the house hoping that she wasn't being rude by walking in with out permission.

With Fayte's help, they had gotten the book off the bed and to the door way, when her ears perked to the sound of her mothers mewing. "My mom's here!" SHe purred happily to look up, and see her standing at the door way.. "Mom!"

"Calisto." She purred happily as she walked forward slowly and licked her daughters head slighty. "Its good to see you. You've grown so much." Nelon said looking at her for a moment before looking over at Fayte. "And it seems you have already met Fayte." She remarked nodding her head towards him as a hello.
Fayte looked up now as he heard Calisto say Nelon was here and smiled happily as Nelon nodded towards him. "Took you long enough to get here." He joked slightly as he turned his head to look at the book and then bacl at Nelon. " Calisto and I have something to ask you."

Calisto pouted at the lick and she murred softly "moooom..." She then fliched having almsot forgot about the book. As Fayte talked, she went through looking for the picture again... and the pawed at it, onceit was found.. "We were wondering about this.."

Nelon look at it for a moment before noticing what the humans were doing. She let out a an amused Purr as she sat down looking at both Calisto and Fayte. "First off the thing above the two humans head is a MistleToe. Second the two Humans are..Kissing"She managed to say with a strait face on and sighed before continuing(sp?),"Whenever two people are found under a Mistletoe its a tradition to kiss that person."
Fayte listen intently as Nelon explained what excatly they were doing and he nodded his head in understanding. "Okay, now I understand." He mewed happily ignoring the whole fact of what the Mistletoe was used for.

Calisto murred softly and she blinked. "So they aren't eating eachother.." She blinked at her mother.. "What exactly does kissing symbolize?"

Nelon now felt a little awkward and fiddled with her paws for a moment while keeping her gaze to the ground. After a short pause she let out a deep sigh and looked back up at her daughter. "Well the human that takes care of me said that she had been told that a kiss was symbolized to show how much you loved a person and that they would be there for you no matter what. But im not fully aware of everything it might mean since I am not human." She managed to say without faltering once but she hoped that she would have to go into deeper explenation.
Fayte now knowing excatly what a kiss ment let his gaze fall to the ground. "That seems like a werid tradition to do." he muttered quietly to no one in paticular as his ears tiwtched slightly.

Calisto felt a warm sensation fill her. She was embaressed, she murred softly... She glanced over at Fayte, and her ears flattened he seemed to have felt a bit awkard aswell. She didn; mean any harm to her new friend in her explorings of the human things... "Oh... I see.."She told her mother. She wasn't to sure how to make that akward feeling go away...

Nelon glanced between the two of them and could tell she should find a way to change the subject. "Another Tradition for Christmas is giving presents to one another!" She said trying to catch their attentions.
Fayte looked up at the sound of hearing the word 'Presents' and tilted his head slightly to the side. "Why would they do that?" He mewed to Nelon wondering why humans had all of these weird traditions.

Calisto liked presents, Luna would give her things on occasion and would say 'I have a present for you'. But why would this be anymore special? So she decided to wait for nelon to answer Faytes question. Another forming in her mind. 'When exactly is this christmas.'? She wanted to get a gift for her new friend~

"Because Chrismtas is a time of giving. They do it because they want to spread joy to others and Happiness. Don't you think its better to give then recieve?" Nelon asked hoping that she answered his question right since she too didn't know much about Christmas. "It's also a time to spend time with your family."
Fayte thought about this for a moment and nodded slowly in understanding. "Okay." He purred happily.(Short Sorry.)

"mom, when is christams?" Calisto murred softly. She wondered what Fayte might like as a gift. "Spend it with your family? does that mean this this chrismtas comes around I'll be with you mom?"

"Christmas is on the 25th this month." Nelon purred back to her daughter glad she was interested in the holiday. "Well it depends if your human will let you spend Christmas with me. Maybe you could everyone that I live with on Christmas too."
Fayte listened for a moment just to hear the date and then went into thought wondering what he should get for Calisto. 'I wonder what she likes...' He thought to himself puzzled a little.
