"I'm not sure about all that," he growled as his head shot back up. "But I know for a fact that having a snotty mouth towards your elders is a common cause of death for whelps like you!" He was on his feet again quickly, armor-plated tail stuck out straight behind him as his lips curled into an almost involuntary snarl. "And you would be correct to assume that I have no friends. I'm surprised that you're able to get one thing right. But what of you? I don't see any of your little buddies coming to assist you in mocking me." He found himself taking a step towards her in his anger. Of course, he was the one overreacting this time, but he couldn't help it. And, quite frankly, he didn't care. He would never admit it openly, but that blasted serpopard had struck a nerve.

Lev decided to play the Lobfoxe's card against him. She fixed a mocking smile on her face, almost a mirror image of the Lobfoxes own. "All bark and no bite, really, you're the one who's not very smart. My buddy Marek's got everything set up for me, we look out for each other. where as you haven't got any friends at all" Her body was tense, ready to spring away just in case old Lobby over their did have a nasty bite after all
((Marek doesn't exactly exist yet, but since he's not really their, it doesn't matter))

"All set up for you, eh? Then I ask you: Where is this friend of yours now? It doesn't appear that you are being 'looked after' to me..." An insult to his intelligence? Who did this snake think she was? With a moment of thought to himself, Atlas regained some of his cool, though a definite tone of hatred still rang through in his gruff voice. "Now, here's the thing that you don't seem to grasp. I don't need anyone. I'm an adult, and I'm smart enough not to poke my nose in places where it doesn't belong. Unlike you." He started to come forward at a quick jog, that wicked smile figuring itself in his snarl. The lobfox lunged, jaws opened wide to take in a furry hunk of Levanala's leg.

Lev leaped backward, away from the Lobfox's jaws. "Marek's joining up with Sin, and when he's in, he's going to come back for me." A cocky grin spread across her face, and she leered at the Lobfox. "And I think you don't have any friends 'cus no one wants to even get near you, let alone be your friend." She took a cautious step back, just in case the Lobfox decided to attack again.

"Have you even thought of the possibility that I don't want anyone? Friends are nothing but a burden. I'm actually quite glad that you are the only one stupid enough to approach me in quite some time. But in any case... I doubt that yours will be finding you alive if you keep this up." He tensed his muscles, ready to strike again, but then he stopped. What was he doing? Atlas shook his head and growled gruffly, "You are nothing but a waste of my time. I can't believe that I even lowered myself enough to attack a whelp like you." He turned around and started to walk away slowly, barely able to suppress a cocky grin. If he just left now, then some other kimera was sure to take care of her...
