"Aye!" he said, dashing to the little hole in the ground he refered to as his 'supply closet'. He returned with another wooden bucket in his teeth and nodded in the direction of the stream. If he could have pranced along without fear of looking completely stupid, or of spilling the bucket after it was full of water, he would have. She was here, Raux was at his lovely little home! And she was one of the rare few who actually seemed to like his pummins... Once they reached the stream he set his bucket in the water and let it fill up before depositing it on the stream bank. He opened his jaws to say something, but upon opening them couldn't remember what it was he was going to say. "Aye..." he settled for that and grinned almost sheepishly at his pail, making him look almost like an embarrassed kit.

Raux smiled happily, grasping the bucket gingerly in her strong jaws as she waited for him to go to the stream. She followed... And could see the happiness in his step. Filling her own pail and settling it upon the bank for a moment she looked to Teance as he spoke. Smiling, she once again gave a soft nuzzle to his ears before grasping the bucket and going back to the patch to water the pumpkins. Her tail waved lazily in happiness at all of this...
To think of it! Teance, the Pirate, so embaressed of her... He needn't be. She was already attached, and gladly shared his company.

Teance practically melted when Raux nuzzled him, dazedly picking up his bucket and following her back to his pummin' patch. Lost in his own thoughts, he began to water the pummins carefully, making sure each pummin had its fare share. He still couldn't beleive she was actually here, she was... Well, sparing all the eloquent gush most lovers use, she was Raux, and that's all she needed to be. Meanwhile he was a pirate... Not that anything was wrong with that of course, but did he really think he was worthy to be sought after by her? He knew she had only to ask and he would be hers, but would she? He had to beleive someday she would, if only for his own sanity...
(I can't beleive I actually rped something about love... *Slaps herself*
Sorry... Usually I'm the most against relationships person my freinds know... >.>
But I guess that's only highschool dating, I'm fine with grownups in love, but teenagers... xp )

((Heh. I'm a hopeless romantic... Some people might tell you, while others will say that I've the most over-protective person they know... Still others will tell you I am a sadistic, malevolent S.O.B and deserve to be locked up in Hell. XD All depends on if your on my good side or bad. I think Teance and Raux fit well though.))
Being a pirate or not didn't matter to Raux. She was completely happy with Teance just the way he was. Maybe a little sloppy in her watering, she couldn't control her bucket as well as Teance could with his paws... But she did an alright job, making sure that some of the littler ones got more water. Running back to the stream for a moment, she filled another bucket before watering the rest as best she could. Just something so simple that they could share like this... It was all she wanted in a mate. Not having to deal with the hierarchy of a pack... But just having little ones to care for and a mate to love. As sappy as it might sound, but she didn't care. Teance would surely understand.

Yep, they do)
It took a few trips back and forth to get water to all the pummins, but not as many as if he had had to do it alone. On one of his trips back he went a little slower, smiling at Raux's care of the pummins. Yes, she would be wonderful with a family. He realized what his last though had been and tripped over his own tail, dumping the bucket of water on his head. Grumbling but still with a halfdreamy smile on his face, Teance returned to the stream to fill the bucket again and finish watering the pummins.

Seeing one of the pumpkins roll to its side with the force of the water Raux tenderly moved it back to sitting the right way... Almost as if she were moving an egg, how gentle was was being with the tiny one.
Seeing Teance dump the bucket over his head she couldn't help but laugh softly, settling her bucket down before watching him finish. Once he had she came over and softly nosed his ears and neck, cleaning the waterdroplets from his fur. She just had the urge to watch over him, evne if he didn't need it... Maybe her way of showing that she liked him.

Teance sat still, a rough purr-like sound escaping from him, his eye closed as if he thought if he would open it again this would all disappear. Finally he did open it, looking at Raux and loving how caring she was. When he had been on the sea he had had to watch his own back, never sure of any one he could trust. The sea was often called "A Harsh Mistress" and Teance knew that every fiber of that statement was true. But Raux was the complete opposite, sharing in the completely opposite style of life than what he was used to. He thought about this and found that he much more prefered this calm, trusting lifestyle to that of the sea's. It was obvious that Raux enjoyed it much more than her previous life as well. And he found it obvious, even to himself, that he wanted to share this kind lifestyle. And he wanted to share it with Raux.

Raux smiled slightly at Teance's purr. It meant that he was comfortable with her... And that was what she wanted. Continuing her grooming for a few moments more she paused, looking to him as she curled slightly and rested her head over his back. Their lives before this had been hard... But she thought that they could make a new life togather now. Something much more than what they had before; Enjoying it togather instead of alone. That companionship was inherantly needed by both of them... Raux was all too happy to share her life with Teance.

Teance simply heaved a happy sigh and rested his head on his paws, enjoying the moment. It was only just past Midday, they had the whole afternoon to themselves.

(XD Raux probably will. Heheh, it's okay. I understand.)
Nuzzling his gray fur, Raux smiled at his happy sigh. Did she really need to say the words on her mind? ....Nah. Teance knew. It needn't be spoken aloud, not yet.
She curled up almost around Teanc, her tail resting against his as she rested her head against his shoulders and gave a light nuzzle against the back of his neck. This was nice, just the two of them.

Once again Teance practically melted into a happy puddle of goo, his rough purr all of a sudden smoothing out for a few heartbeats until he got his whirling thoughts under control. He did know that they would be endlessly happy, that was all that mattered, whether the rest of the universe cared or not. He curled his tails around her and settled his shoulders as to make a more comfortable pillow.

It was known that the Kimera could inter-breed... Still yet to be seen if the offspring were sterile or not... But as long as they were happy, it didn't matter.
Raux certainly was happy with Teance, and she knew that she wanted to be with him. A quiet purr rumbled from her chest as she felt his tails curl around her own. She happily sort of snuggled into his soft fur without harming him, hearing his soft purring and his heartbeat.

Teance hadn't thought as far as breeding, though he supposed it could be a possility in the future, he really didn't know. Right now he just wanted to be with Raux, if that meant having a family later on then that would make him happy too. Trying not to disturb her he slipped off one of his wrist circlets, using one of his tails to dangle it in front of her questioningly, unable to see her since she was currently behind him. He waited nervously to see if she would take it or not.
(No, he is not proposing marriage xd Unless you want him to be )

((Well... It wouldn't be a marriage as much as a commitment to one another. XD No, she doesn't think of it as marriage.))
After Teance shifted slightly Raux looked to him instead of the pumpkins, watching as he dangled one of his circlets infront of her. She gave a rather happy, rumbling purr as she took the took the ring gingerly and put it on one of her forarms. Nuzzling carefully against Teance, she murmered softly to him, close to one of his ears. "I love you too."
The words seemed somewhat odd... For this seemingly motherly-yet-antisocial raptor to be saying to the pirate hebisune... But they both knew that it was true. She would have to find him a gift as well... Sometime soon.

This time Teance did melt, his tails going limp and his ears happily twitching back and forth. Just to hear those words from her sent his whole world into a shiny pink haze, which, being a pirate, the color pink scared him, so it quickly switched to a dreamy yellow haze drifting over the pummins. His purring smoothed out once again as he happily realized his life was now as he had dreamed it would be when he had first met Raux.
(It seems kind of odd for them to be falling in love in a day, isn't it? But then, they were rping in the shop together for a few days... But we had them re-meet here so it looks like they've only known each other for a day xd )
