Do they have this manga in video form?
Like anime?
It's a lot easier for me to watch anime then to read manga sweatdrop
I'm not sure how to read manga. I know it's from right to left but the boxes aren't the same sizes so it looks mixed up to me burning_eyes

Learning to read manga isn't that difficult, though? It's the same as reading Western comics, except you read in the opposite direction. Right to left, top to bottom--if you're not sure, it generally goes right to left straight across a "row" and then down to the next row, it's kind of a hierarchy. You'll get used to it if you actually try reading these more frequently.
Also, Girl Friends is one of those series where it isn't a big deal to accidentally read something out of order--you won't spoil yourself and it'll quickly become apparent which panel came first. It's not very complex or overly artistic/dynamic with the panel forms, so it should be an easier start.

OH OH OH I just realized that Chapter 12 is out. Hahahaha! I have a final in less than an hour and here I am reading a girl-love manga. Go me.

Oh my gosh, was it just me or was Mariko going all "Get away from her right now!" really really adorable? D: She's so in love...and so jealous hahaha. Totally hot for her, too. I like that Milk is really solidifying Mariko's feelings in this chapter as real romantic attraction, not just platonic affection.
But damn, what's up with her stupid, typical shoujo-ai, "But we're both girls, we can't be together..." Ugh just break the norm, do it do it do it. This is why I love Strawberry Shake Sweet, no one is doing this silliness, they're just like, "I'm lesbian, I like girls!"
Does anyone think Mari's flat-out gay? She's never really liked anyone before, and she really hesitates when Sugi and Akko ask her what kind of guy she likes. "... I wish I had realized sooner..." ...that I'm lesbian. Right? XD
I think the last bit is, what do you think is going to happen down the line now that Mariko's made this impossibly stupid decision? This can't work out well, she doesn't like the guy at all and is really kind of using him to move on. Think they'll go through a shocking realization thing, or Akko will get jealous and realize she loves Mari back, or someone will end up het and it'll be tragic?

Well, Mariko ain't fallin' in love with that dood she just met in the subway, because no Shoujo-Ai compilation would like that. >_>
My guess is that she'll go out with him, she'll have fun, go home, cry, think about the guy, think about her girlfriend, might cry some more, call her, get her to cheer Mariko up, go to school, maybe more tension, then "I LOVE YOU" and "I LOVE YOU TOO" and all the girls'll just be either confessing for each other or going "took ya damn long enough."
Of course, I don't know this author, so I have no idea how she handled her previous stories. X_x
Needs more to-the-pointness, though. Tension isn't my strong suit...
