Death skids his feet on the ground to slow down and places his left hand on the chain. He focuses his chakra and lets it out as very hot fire on the chain which begins to glow red. He yanks back his right arm, popping his shoulder right before breaking the chain were it was glowing red. Death falls to his butt on the ground and states, "I should have heated the chain a little more. I could have dislocated my shoulder, good thing it only 'popped'." Death stands up and grabbing the pin, he pulls it out of his arm. I have to get to at least one of my katanas, Death thinks to himself. Kunai aren't very fatal and shuriken could be but they have to be thrown. This'll be a tough one.

Death holds his right hand in front of his face and his left to the side of his shoulder. Once Ino gets within striking range he shoots out his right arm, jabbing his index and middle finger hard into her solar plexus*. He then swings his left hand down as a haito** at a diagonal hitting the base of her neck. Death jumps back and looks around for his sword(s).


((Vocabulary time!
*Solar Plexus - A central network of nerves situated in the abdomen behind the stomach. Any strike (even a light poke) that hits below the sternum where the ribs cage makes the up-side-down "V" will cause large pain and may cause the wind to be knocked out of a person.
**Haito - Pronounced "hey'-toe". Japanese: translates to "ridge hand"; a strike similar to a shuto (aka 'karate chop') but instead of hitting with the blade of the hand, the opposite side is used either with the soft skin between the thumb and index finger or the bottom knuckle of the thumb. Death used the knuckle because he wanted to pin-point the strike force to the pressure point at the neck's base. If that pressure point is hit hard enough it can cause numbness or even temporary paralysis to that side of the body.))

Death sees one of his katanas on the ground and tries to run to it. But thanks to the jutsu and the poison he can only do as much as a slow jog.

Death is too busy trying to run to his katana to notice the shuriken which then slices into his right calf. "Holy f-" Death begins to yelp as his muscles become taut around the shuriken, causing him to fall and face-plant the ground. He pushes his upper body off the ground with the help of his right arm and peers over his shoulder to see the blood on his leg, the ground, and the shuriken, too. He also notices Ino running... away? He looks farther to see what she's running to and realizes exactly how much trouble he's in. "This just gets worse and worse, doesn't it," Death mumbles to himself and then he starts pulling himself trough the dirt with his arms, leaving a crimson trail of blood, which slowly causes him to become dizzy... slowing him even more... oh goody.

Death pulls himself all the way to his katana. Feeling like he's traveled a million miles, he grabs the handle and rolls onto to back, staring at the trees and the sky. He sits up slowly and sees that Ino now has the other katana and begins to plan his next move.

((It's not like he could just stand up and run at her, that'd be stupid.))

Death is shocked and furious. "You broke my katana! You evil little *censored*" He screams. "And I will not give up, you just want me to because you're afraid. I'm going to destroy you, and you know it. Would you like to prove me wrong, or stay a chicken forever?"
