This style actually looks realy innteresting. I mean, i've seen it before when I was looking for pictures of some Japanese fashion. (for my friends website on Japanese culture.) I saw alot of pictures of this kind of stuff. I thought it was realy unique and cute. n_n an I don't realy have a problem with ganguro. I don't realy have a problem with anything though..soo.. xD
@Serial: O: haha..you're not ugly! I think you look good in that picture! Now, scuse me while I steal your little hat. xp

I think this style is usually made for J-rock bands and such.

I want to be a butterfly...

~(.+.)~The only reason that everyone sees the Visual Kei bands wearing things like this is because it's their style ... Kei means Style in Japanese, and thus, it's the rock style, just as Oshare is it's own style. EGA and Goth Loli are the street fashions that I follow most of the time... ^^; though with my build, I tend more towards EGA and something like Punk or Qi Loli instead of classical goth. >_>; -makes no sense-
@Adesa: NO! My hat! <3 It's so cute. And no admin at our school told me to take it off since it was so small <3 ~(.+.)~
For no one ever suspects the butterfly...

I love that style. I've seen it before in a few other magazines. I really wish that I could dress like that (I've totally got the garb) but I'm shy and my town is small. The pictures are so cute and the ones of you dressing up look fun. :]

Another thing. Someone mentioned Ganguro. I have a couple friends that are from Japan. They are here on exchange and attend the same campus that I do. From what I've been told people don't dress like that anymore and it was a trend a few years back. It would be rare to see someone like that. But yes, I agree that it's just weird to see a Ganguro girl. O:
Also, another person mentioned the Visual Kei style.. Yeah.. only the Japanese bands do that. Or just kids that want to imitate them. Despite that I think that both styles are definitely interesting.
