Quinn walked back into the library and walked over to a table and sat down, he noticed a couple of people, he wondered what they were doing, one really looked like one tranous had described in a letter to him. He got up and began to look for a book about curses.

"ha ha! I must be still asleep." She couldn't believe what she was hearing, nothing like this existed where she was from, at least, not to her knowing.

Ilwen sighed, this always happens, first they think they are asleep then when they find out this is real they run in fear. he thought to himself, "you really think this is a dream huh? let me prove to you that I am real." he said snapping his fingers again and making her shadow pinch her cheek a bit hard, "still think your asleep?" he asked.

"OW!" she said, rubbing whree her shadow just pinched her, "That hurt...." In spite of herself, she bagan laughing.

Quinn smirked, so the man with the book had powers too, interesting. He found a book about curses, he flipped through it, nothing. His eyes went pure black, he could see peoples souls. he quickly changed back to his normal eyes, which were red. He walked over to the man. "So you have powers too huh?" Quinn asked.

"of course it hurt, your awake." Ilwen said to Mitsuki as he turned his head to Quinn, "Yes I do, and since you said 'too' I would like to know myself what powers do you have... and what do you plan on doing with that book of curses?" he asked as his face went into a serious expression.

Mitsuki's eyes wandered between the two of them. her mind was filling with so many questions. What is going on...? she wondered.

quinn looked at him. "I have the power over lightning and can speak any language in the world, including animal. Now this book, I was looking up a curse that a friend of mine had..." Quinn zoned out, remembering tranous's death. He quickly came back to reality. "I now have that curse, did you know of a student by the name of Tranous?" He asked.

Ilwen nodded, "yes I do I saw him in a forest practicing, and bandaged his wounds once...but thats was a few days back. why do you ask?" he asked Quinn now turning his body in his direction.

"Powers? Shadows? None of this is adding up. I'm only one person.... What the hell are they all talking about?!" Mitsuki said to herself, quiet so she wouldn't interuppt the two of them.

He used the spell of worlds, which kills the user, as well as the target. Oh, if you know tranous, then you must know shadow, his faithful companion. Oh, by the way, i can also see other peoples souls, tranous passed the curse of demons to me....and his katana." Quinn laughed, he was holding back tears, his eyes watering, he remembered all of the good times tranous and quinn had. "He was an ex-assassin you know, as am I. He perfered katanas, I perfer battle axes. I miss him...I came here so that he could train me, I was always behind him." A small tear rolled down his face. "Somehow his father survived the spell of worlds,AND I'LL KILL HIM FOR TAKING AWAY MY BEST FRIEND!!!" Quinn yelled with rage, tears now rolling down his cheek.

Ilwen's face turned into a pittied/sad expression, "I see, so when is his funeral? I would like to take part in it even though I only knew this person for a day." he said still standing there till he heard quinn yell. "Why would you kill his father becuase he survived?" he asked looking at Quinn with a confused expression.

Mitsuki lowered her head, she too began to cry. "th-that's awful..." she said to herself. She backed up and hid herself, it wasn't her problem, why was she upset? She didn't even know who they were talking about!
