Lintana set Eisel down on a chair that was next to a small desk. It protruded from the wall just a few feet away from a bed. She was lost in thought as she watched the bronze riders file in.
She was torn between staying with Eisel to make sure everything went ok and checking up on the actually flight and her own queen. She hoped that Saterth was doing alright, her being so close to mating herself.
I am fine. Do not worry. was Saterths thoughtful reply.

OoC|| Eisel prolly won't do anything interesting until something exciting happens with the flight, so...Lintana should feel free to go ahead and watch the actual flight. I'm sure the bronzeriders won't do anything to Eisel...I hope... sweatdrop

Z'Arian wandered along only half aware as his thoughts raced with his dragon. The cry of the queen echoed in his head and his ears at once. His mind went dizzy when Vrätoth realized the queen was flying DOWN. As the others shot up and past her, he discovered that a short distance behind was a good thing now. He braked hard and twisted like the warrior he is, but it was still too late. He shot past, but not nearly as far off as the others. His slim chance of success was just boosted, even if was only a very small amount. Z'Arian grinned, and his dragon kept watching for the queens tricks and paths.

Kernth could no longer take it. He shot up straight as he saw the queen from a break in the clouds, his hide was glowing a brighter brown than N'lor had ever seen. Kernth met the queens roar with his own, filled with elation and his own freedom.
N'lor on the other hand was screaming at his dragon to come back. Sweat poured down N'lors face. HE was holding back his dragons emotions from himself and almost passing out in the process. He steaded himself against a wall still screaming both in his mind and voice for Kernth to return.

Lintana heard the unfamilier roar and imediatly contacted Saterth. She sounded as amused as a dragon could be.
Kernth is trying his luck with Umbrielth.
Kernth....wait....isn't he a brown? How is his rider?! Lintana was more in shock than anger. She glanced at Eisel one last time before jumping up and running out of the chambers. She looked around trying to find the brownrider.

Umbrielth/Eisel shrieked in anger at Kernth's interception and dodged to the side of the oncoming brown, shooting on past him toward the ground. With a flurry of wings and gleaming gold hide, she pulled up and sped along parallel to the ground. With another roar, she touched the ground just long enough to kick off, her wings flapping powerfully to catapult her back towards the line of bronzes trailing above her. She shot through the mass of coppery wings like a knife through butter, spiralling as she continued upward. Silly bronzes. She was faster than the wind, lighter than the air, stronger than the Red Star that hovered menacingly above Pern's skies.

Vrätoth noticed to late that the queen was gone, up and above them all. He twisted hard and grazed the ground with his tail as he tried to spin skyward. He pulled out just after another bronze and was chasing him and the queen, pushing hard to overtake the one dragon between him and the queen.

Kernths determination was mounting at the sound of the queens anger, he wanted to prove he was the best. Kernth, being small than the bronzes, quickly changed directions. He sped upwards after the queen, still oblivious to his riders distress.
N'lor was slowly sliding down the wall that had held him up. He was quickly losing himself. He thought he saw the weyrwoman coming towards him.

Lintana noticed N'lor and rushed up the stairs two at the time to reach him as he slid down the wall. She propped up his head and looked cautiously into his eyes. HE was definatly torn. Lintana quickly decided that he best be moved to the chambers just in case Kernth beat the other bronzes which was very unlikely. Plus after all this he was going to need plenty of medicine and the chambers were just off of the medical storage. She slung one of his arms around her and lifted him up by the waist. They stumbled lopsidedly to the chambers.

OoC|| I'm on tough-and-go right now since you two obviously have some idea where you want this to go and I have no clue. Since I've been having trouble being on so late at night, you should know that the best time for me is three to four or even five. I'm almost always on in that time window. I'll keep trying for eight to nine, but...yeah. I happen to have limits on my computer time, and my parents generally want me in bed at eight-thirty...

Pulling the same trick as before, Umbrielth/Eisel waited until all the bronzes were powering up after her and then folded her wings and dropped like a stone back through them. She lashed out with her wings to trip some bronzes up, sending them spiralling away as they faltered in their powerful flight. Several bronzes dropped away, obviously reluctant to give up the chase. Umbrielth/Eisel called her defiance to the wind, directing it mostly at the brown and bronze who seemed to be following her more closely than the rest of the pack.

Haelieth circled slowly as he descended toward the Bowl. T'lir heaved a sigh of disappointment and relief, both at once. Bad luck, friend, he told Haelieth sympathetically. He slipped out of the chambers with several other bronze-riders whose dragons had been burned out, all of them looking glum. He wasn't so unhappy, himself. He didn't really want to deal with a woman this fast. He'd much rather explore the Lower Caverns before moving up. Best for last, as they always said. Haelieth apparently didn't share his sentiment.

Vrätoth saw the group of bronzes in front of him get thrown out, and was glad he was near the back again. There were very few left, and as he shot his wings down with a huge thrust, Z'Arian shoved a little more seeing that they might actually have a small chance.

Glancing behind her at the bronze closest to her, Umbrielth/Eisel smirked and switched directions, looping up and over to come down on his other side. She folded her wings to fall once again, neck and neck with the bronze just to show she wasn't afraid of him. She could be gone in an instant if she so chose.

Z'Arian noticed that the queen was playing games with his companion now. Luckily, Vrätoth hadn't been reckless enough to try anything yet. Try feinting away and then spiral in Vrätoth tucked in a wing and pulled sharply away, then spun as fast as he could trying to get to the other side of the queen before she caught on.

The gold queen watched with slight amusement as the bronze pulled away, then faltered slightly as he shot around to the other side. She spun angrily as he appeared on her other side, her power momentarily challenged.
