Not fully a work place, but was trying ot get a job there. Anyone ever went on an interview for Coldstone? You have to go in for an audition. You work in groups to memorize a song and come up with dance moves that everyone in the parking lot, stroes close by and those inside cold stone can see. We did this all right on the outside of the ice cream place. It was hilarious as well as embarrassing.

Then, once the group interview/audition is finished, they want you to return to that cold stone to socialize with everyone. They hope you continue to do so even if you don't get hired. It wasn't the coldstone I applied for, and was a little out of the way. Only reason I didn't get hired, I didn't go back to socialize.

That s**t is mentally unsound. You just reminded of the fact that I haven't been to a Marble Slab in a while... mm, malt.

Yeah, at our Coldstones if you drop anything in the tip jar, the whole staff has to sing, even if you only tip a penny. They have lots of different songs too, and they're all silly. A friend of mine always tips 2 cents and leaves before the end of the song, just to be an a*****e.

Not to sound like a complete sociopath, but the only thing that would make me want to leave behind is a poop on the tile. That or a grenade in the trash bin.

Aww, don't like the whole song and dance routine? Frankly I don't blame you. I've never actually seen this happen, and I've been into a dozen coldstones, so something is messed here.
It does remind me of a job I once held for a week as part of a scam where they have those poor ignorant fools hocking wares in store parking lots. I was one of these aforementioned fools. They try and keep you on staff through mental conditioning, but in the weirdest ways. For example a social capade at an IHOP in your business clothing. WTF, I asked. They even used a cowbell to try and brainwash people into mindless enthusiasm for being butt plugged by the job policies. I didn't stay long enough to collect a single paycheck.

No, that's how I'd feel too. I think I would outright refuse to even interview if that is what it entailed. I am not a sing and dance monkey, and that's so humiliating to require employees to do that for a penny or two.
