*Walks in with a pack and suitcase full of stuff*
*Hears Lace's symptoms*
Jaus, in the mini-fridge there should be some small bottles of the pink stuff. Give her one.
*Turns to Lace and smiles*
Hope you haven't been sick long, I needed to go get a few things... I left a note on my desk...
*Walks over and begins to put a wider selection of medications away*
Oh yes! The directions are on the bottle, you should be feeling better long before the party!
*Looks around wondering if maybe the maid threw it out*

Jaus snatched the bottle from Lace, frowning at her a bit. "Don't shake it ... "She grumbled and began reading over the information on the side. She silently wondered if Doctor Yoichi was mad at her for trying to do his job while he was away...

*turns to Jaus and gives her a kiss on top of her head*
Even if you didn't see my note it looks like you did a good job!
*Still wonders what ever happened to his note and goes back to putting things away*
I had to pick up a few more various things due to the ever growing variation of species in this place.... what works for one may kill another... So just because the symptoms sound normal, don't just give them the normal stuff... take their species into account.

'Ah...Ri-Right!" Jaus said with a quick nod of her head, face a bit pink as she moved and began to help tidy the place up, shivering a little bit. She hadn't even thought about that before ...But, then again, that was why he was the doctor and she was the student.

((Much later than the last post .... >> ))
Jaus growled softly to herself as she stomped into the room, looking around...Once again, the doctor was gone when he was needed ... She sighed to herself, shaking her head as she used her hand to keep the cut on her eyebrow from bleeding into her eye and causing her to go blind. She dug through the medical cabinet, finding herself a needle, some thread, hydrogen peroxide, and dressings for her woulds. She worked at getting the thread through the needle, growling when she couldn't and stabbing it onto the counter in her frustration, hissing in pain as the blood got in her eye again.

Adam crawled in and stood examining the room. He generally avoided anywhere that involved doctors...he saw Jaus struggling with her wounds and walked over.
"Gene is feasting on the bodies...little champ he is. We are here to help."
Adam smiled and was glad that she hadn't been wounded any worse by the soldiers.

Jaus blinked a bit as she looked up at Adam, hesitating for a moment as she nodded her head. She lifted her hands, smearing the blood and wiping away small tears of frustration that had been gathering in her eyes. ' Thank you ... " She whispered softly as she pulled herself up to sit on the counter with a small hiss of pain, gingerly touching her shoulder. "Then, first, i need you to thread that needle for me. " She took a cotton swab, soaking it in hydrogen peroxide and dabbing at her wound as she winced. " The cut isn't too deep, but it will have troubles healing up on it's own so we have to sow it and the one on my eyebrow. " Jaus explained quietly, her eyes lowered. "...They didn't hurt you, did they ?"

Adam quickly threaded the needle and began to stitch the wound with alarming precision.
"If we had the ability we would give you some of our regenerative DNA...and no they didn't hurt us. Those were puny weapons compared to what we have done battle with in the past. A few bullets hit us in the chest but we heal at an extreme rate." He finished with the first wound and moved on to the second.
"...I should have killed them quicker. You wouldn't have been hurt."

Jaus winced a bit as Adam began working on her eyebrow, clenching her teeth a bit before she exhaled and relaxed herself a bit. "It's fine, really .. " She told him in a soft voice as she smiled at the Tyranid. "Wounds like this don't matter. They heal up soon enough. ...I am just glad that you and Gene are alright ..." She looked down again, already working on putting the bandage onto her cheek to stop the bleeding there. "..I don't know what i would do if i lost either of you ... " She whispered softly.

Adam finished his work on the second wound and examined it. He had seen field medics patch people up like this all the time, he seemed to have done it alright.
"Hopefully this will suffice. Why is the syndicate doctor so hard to find? What would we have done if you had been hurt any worse!?"
He smiled at her
"And dont worry, we are extremely difficult to kill. We wont be going anywhere anytime soon." His smile faded and he looked worried. "Unless of course they return with flamethrowers and a lot of electricity...oh that would be bad for us."

Jaus glanced up at him before she smiled and threw her arms around the giant bug, hugging him close to her and softly snuggling her face against his shoulder. "Don't worry ..I'll keep you safe from the fire and the electricity. I promise. " She looked up at him.

Adam returned the hug and couldn't stop himself from clicking happily.
"Thank you. We will in turn tear the organs from anyone that threatens you or Gene. Or anyone in this house for that matter." His mind wandered again to the soldiers final words. "We should tell DG what happened...in case more come."
