The guard nodded. "He seemed to be in a hurry, though. From what I gathered, he was looking for someone." He'd probably exhausted himself in the search, not taking enough time to rest or eat... At least, that would be the most likely reason. The carriers followed after Giesel gratefully; their cargo was damned heavy!
Between the three of them, they managed to haul the unconscious giant onto the bed and get him settled. "Is there anything else you might need help with?" The guard asked, setting a small satchel beside the bed. "That was all he had on him, by the way."

Silverleaf walked outside and leaned on the wall next to the now closed door from the Giant's room. She sighed, glad to be free, at least for a little while. Master Giesel didn't seem like he was in the mood to try and teach someone like her, so she had to leave before she became a bother. She only rested on the wall for a few minutes before she lightly pushed herself off of it and started to walk down the hall.
Maybe I'll go and take a nap... it's been almost a full 24 hours since I was able to get any sleep anyways... I'm sure no one will miss me...

(Because... it's Tiliff... and he listens to authority figures because he's good like that... and Citadel scares him >< You'd think that a thief wouldn't be afraid of authority... or horses... but he is >< It'd be out of character for him to follow ><)

Silverleaf started to make her way down the long stairway leading out of the Healer's Collegium. She wanted to find the man who claimed to be her brother before she called it a night. But she didn't know where to find him. She saw this new companion carrying another weak and injured chosen. At least this one didn't have wings!
"May I help you?" she asked kindly to the masculine companion.

Cassidy stiffened abruptly. A wave of blind panic slammed against Cit's shields, a welter of images/feelings/emotions slashing across his mind. :: No no nononoNoNoNONONO-- :: The mental shriek cut off abruptly with a whimper of pain as all the panic suddenly vanished, and Cassidy swayed, nearly falling from the saddle. But then, absolute, unreasoning fear began to grow, hammering at Cit's layered shields.

Silverleaf looked quickly over the young man, he didn't have any obvious wounds, but he still looked a mess. She looked at the companion earnestly, "Will you be able to make it up the rest of the stairs like this, or should I go and get a stretcher?" She could tell that this was serious.

Citadel snorted loudly and twitched as his sheilds were battered against, it was hard to keep those sheilds strong enough to keep Cassi inside them, but he had to try, for the sake of other people anyways.
He looked over at the girl, a healer trainee? whatever she was, she was needed, and he projected that need to her, not wanting to send her into a fit if he mindspoke her. at her words, he started ever so carefully up teh stairs, trying to keep Cass on his back.

Silverleaf saw and felt... felt? the companion's desperation. She ran to his side and winced at the gashes there. What have you two been through? she thought quietly to herself. None the less, she placed her hands on either side of the young man and did what she could to help the companion up the stairs. She gave the man bursts of healing to try and keep him sedated even though he appeared to already be under some form of tranquilizer.

Though well-intentioned, that was definitely the wrong thing to do. Cassidy started violently, lurching away from Silverleaf - and tumbling from Citadel's back onto the stairs. Crying out in pain, he nevertheless managed to crawl away from Silverleaf and into a niche near the door, shaking terribly and covering his head with his hands as if he feared that something or someone would strike him down from the heavens. All Cit would be able to hear through the mental babble was the occasional HEALER! fearfully entwined with terror and loathing. The wild emotions continued to batter unthinkingly at the Companion's shields.

Citadel stared, frozen in the middle of a step, his neck arched in Cassidys direction. What..? He didnt understand. He had no idea... what was wrong? Healers? what was wrong with healers?? He wickered in distresss, but couldnt make himself move.

Silverleaf nearly screamed herself when the man plunged from off of the companion's back. And then she knew that it was her that he was running from as he hid inside the niche. O no... what have I done?! she screamed into her own mind. She knew trying to get closer would only hurt him all the more... she had to find out what to do.... and quickly!
