Shaon, surprised, spun around to see her speaker and let out a pent-up breath. "I bet both of you coudl become Gods." she said. then she flashed a grin to Leo. "and getting hit agasint the wall and nearly broken to pieces hardly counts as helping, my brother."

Dixenos appeared in a flash of light, having marked this place for a Recall spell while the others were not around. Having caught the last few exchanges, he announced himself:
"I once had a brrrother who was a lich, a long time ago. He trried to bind himself to the strrream of magicka itself. It was a good idea, in concept. Howeverrr, when he attempted it... I wish what I saw on no-one. Gods and undead alike should bewarre dabbling in such things."
Stepping forward into the light, he bared his fangs in a toothy grin.
"But, alas, what is a God? I know of only five mortals who have achieved that title. One war hero, one necromancer, and three murderering Dunmer."

Shaon jumped and promptlyfell off of her chair and falling of the other side when Dixenos appeared. werewolves scared her to pieces, even if she knew he was a brother. The sudden appearance in a flash of light didn't help, either. "Gods are what you percieve them to be," she mumbled numbly, trying to pull herself up from the floor.

"In any case, I'm not sure its the place for a member of the black hand to become a god... we lurk in shadows, we don't have worshipers. I'm not sure I know what I'm trying to say, but it just seems strange to me that a servant of Sithis should ever become a god."

((plotline: shaon, sydney, leo, and dixenos go to become gods and outdo sithis. then sithis gets pissed. ver pissed. The next day the four were found floating in pools of their own blood. that made sithis happy. very VERY happy. twisted ))
Shaon frowned. "I guess. But it would bring us one ste closer to sithis, maybe. i don;t mind being human too much." she nodded. "only letdown is age, in my opinion."

"In my opinion... Sithis isn't like the other Gods. The Nine Divines, the Daedra, the Morrowind gods, and that Dragon the Nords worship are very different... Sithis is something altogether different as well. How does one define a god at all?"

"Well you get that from the Daedra if you're lucky, and even with The Nine Divines... although many of our brethren don't believe in them. The point is that none of the Gods seem to be... all powerful. Most of them probably aren't even all seeing."
