You know you're online too much when people online hear about happy/sad RL events before your friends across town.

morphingbutterfly the only friends that you do have are all online...nope.. i dont get out much rofl Is this a bad thing? I hope not... Even the one real friend I do have talks to me online. She is in Mississippi, so we can only talk this way. It used to be on the phone every now and then, but that was before her house got flattened...

morphingbutterfly the only friends that you do have are all online...nope.. i dont get out much rofl I can relate! It is such a major deal to get me out of the house, that last year a certain Purkle who lives in a mitten sent her sister and then later that year another purkle to Las Vegas to make SURE I got out of the house. My sister tries every Tuesday, but is not always successful, which bugs her. I do not work, I have very little going on away from the house, and that is pretty much the way I like it. I am now thinking when my brother *tries* to get my kids and I on a plane at the end of this month, I may have a panic attack like none I have ever experienced. I have not flown since June of '01, and in fact have manuevered out of even going to an airport since 9-11-01, so I think his plans to fly me across country may not end up well. I would blame it on the fact he is dragging me away and making me miss Kacheek Day, but he has little or no concept of how much I simply ENJOY being online redface and usually manages to imply I have no life crying

I will say this, if I drive all the way to Vegas, you will go out with me! But then you will have to get me away from the kids for me to do that... Or we could try this. You come here and I'll take you to Disneyland!!

You come here and I'll take you to Disneyland!! I can pretty much guaruntee I would leave the house if you were in town... my family has pretty much come to the conclusion that online friends stand a much better chance of getting me out of the house than my husband, brother, sister, sons, daughter... I left the house twice when GBs sister was here last February, and probably 2 or 3 times while sarianastar came to visit me in October... although I did request she take a cab from the airport, rather than me go there sweatdrop as airports scare me still... sooo sad to live like 3 or 4 miles from the biggest one here... rofl

I've flown once, out of Logan airport, where most of the planes left from, and tons of friends and family have flown too--and some of them were really long distances (ie: Hawai'i' from Boston) too. You'll be fine, I am sure of it.
