Alyia thought for a moment and walked over to Aires. She looked the girl over and arched an eyebrow. "Who are you?" She asked, not really trusting this girl just yet.

He sat there watching the two. He held a Kunia in his hand in case needed and or Called apon by Alyia.

Watching Alyia look over her, Aires couldn't help the small mysterious smile now taking over her face.

"It all depends. Do you want the truth, or a sugar-coated lie?"

Alyia arched an eyebrow and couldn't help but smile slightly as well. "Well, the truth would be best." She watched Aires carefully for a moment and kept her guard up, just in case.

"I don't really think I can tell you the whole truth, it's much too complicated. But I guess I can tell you that I am not a very well-known member of this castle, but I'm sure you've already figured that part out."

Aires took a step back. She hadn't realized how time-consuming this little trip would be. If she kept this up, she wouldn't get back in time, and that was a very bad thing.

"And now I have to leave." Turning on her heel, she took a few steps down the hallway.

((Sorry about how long it takes for me to reply. I'm babysitting--literally.))

((That's all right, I've been a bit distracted myself.))

Alyia arched an eyebrow as the girl started to leave. "Wait," she said, reaching out and putting a hand on the girl's shoulder gently. "What are you then? If you are really a part of this castle, then just answer me that question." Alyia wasn't sure whether or not to trust this girl.

((I'm sorry that my posts are so short.))

((It's okay, I don't mind.))

Aires sighed silently as she continued walking before stopping and looking back over her shoulder at Alyia and the ever present Crow. Another small smile appeared over her face as she decided to answer, only in her own confusing way.

"I'm a creature from the deep, but a lot more evolved than any you'll ever find by looking in the obvious places. Your kind uses a word much too degrading for me to explain it in any other way."

With that she continued walking, but with more of a rush in her movements.

'As interesting as that was, it took up a more time than I thought it would. I'll have to take the shortest way just to get back before my legs start changing colors.'

Crow twirled the Kunia and resheathed it with a grin. 'So your a mermaid" he says with a small smile. "I've always heard they were around here...just never belived it" he said with a soft smile "Well my dear let me occompany you to the waters before you change and dry up" he says with his hand held out.

Alyia watched in silence and grabbed her scythe, ready to fight if she needed to. She wasn't sure whether to follow or not. "We should all go... it's better to stay in a group..." Her voice was quiet as she watched the mermaid with curiosity in her eyes.

Aires stopped rather abruptly and turned to face them, noting the fact that the girl was grabbing a hold of her scythe.

'Water is my territory. She can't try anything there.'

"I'd rather not be called that, but I guess you could say it. And you are right, groups are better than being alone."

She smiled slightly before looking away, back to the corridors that she would have to walk through before looking silently at his hand and ignoring it, walking ahead a few steps.

"If you really want to you can come, but son't expect anything special. Your kind usually tend to."

With that she started walking, not even bothering to wait for them. After all, if they chose to come that was on them, not her.

Catherine shivered. She was used to the cold; she had felt it many times before. But not like this. Never like this. The cold had never been so cold, she had never been so frozen. "Father," she whispered for what seemed to be the thousandth time. She held his head in her lap, her arms dripping in his blood, and sat in the middle of the street as the people rushed by. She had heard the warning alarm, but she didn't care. Her father was dead.

Tayn watched the girl in silence, leaning against a nearby wall. Her body was hidden in the shadows and the ever darkening, rainy sky. Child, death is the least of your worries. You could become one of us. Taryn sighed quietly and turned, leaving the girl to herself, knowing that she had felt that way when her parents had died, but that was a long time ago... over one hundred years ago, actually. She sighed, glancing back once more before heading towards the castle. She had some business to finish before returning to the forest.

Loki looked at the two in front of him with a slight smile, he didnt want to leave but knew he had to, he tucked his wings in and hid them the best he could

"alright"

he said with a sigh as he straightened his belt, he walked forward and gave the woman he had called mom his entire life a hug and a kiss on the cheek, the man recieved a firm handshake and a loose hug

"ill miss you, and i will return, when ive found what im searching for"

He walked slowly away and tried to stay away from everyone he passed, he could hear quiet and happy cries from his mom as he kept walking. He right hand was gripping the hilt of his sword tightly and his left hand was adjusting the leather straps that kept his wings to his body

A cloaked figure wandered into the outer shell of the kingdom, heading inward, toward the better portion of town. The hood was pulled up high over the figures face, concealing the features, the only hint was a small strand of long golden blonde hair, braided with silver wire, making it glimmer. As she reached the inner sections of town, she looked for a decent inn, and smiled as she came across one, "This will have to do..." said the young woman, a heavy accent slurring her words into a sort of draconic hiss.

Loki shivered slightly in the cold breeze, if he was at home he would be sitting infront of the fire with his wings wrapped warmly around himself, he sighed at the memories and kept on, he looked up into the darkened sky with a disappointed look
"mom...if your up there...give me a sign"
He spoke in a whisper hoping no-body could hear, he didnt know a thing about his mother, but assumed that she had passed on considering that the people who raised him just found him in their house one day
... im insane, she probably just left when she found out she gave birth to a freak ...
he looked at the looming castle and walked towards it, knowing he would have to stop soon he made a mental note to remember any inn he sees
