Ylla was so delighted to see so many people in the festival. She has always loved to see many people having fun.

She was wearing a wide grin across her face as she grabbed her father's arm towards a stall which sells chocolates. She could hardly suppress her excitement as she looked around and find some familiar faces. She was slightly disappointed when she realized that none of her friends from Hogwarts went to the festival as well.

Anyhow, she has known better that she has to enjoy this festival. She has to make the most out of it. So, she hurriedly pulled her father towards another stand which sells ice creams.

She was slurping her vanilla flavored ice cream when she spotted Zola Rews, a 6th year student in her house at Hogwarts. She has almost stepped onto her father's foot when she suddenly broke into a run and went near Zola to say hello.

As Romilda set the ugly piece
of jewelry down, she was nearly knocked
over as someone bumped into her.
She spun around and found herself,
once again, face to face with
Valentine. "Funny meeting you here,"
she said, not bothering to keep
the iciness out of her voice.

Whatever apology had been growing in his throat was gone, replaced by a sudden venomous reply that he swallowed down. Green-gold eyes narrowing he snorted softly. "Same can be said for you." he replied fixing his darkened stare on Romilda. It wasn't as if he ended up in the same area with her intentionally, it was just a sad game, Fate loved to play with his life it seemed.

Kinzo walked over to the jewelry stand, maybe she could find something for her mother, since she had kind of left her. On her way there she noticed Romilda,a familiar Slytherin face. She seemed to be glaring at a younger boy. "Wonder what that's all about," she thought as she sifted thorugh the various pieces displayed.

Zola laughed as Kairi chased her new possession. "Careful of the-" Zola started before interrupted by a crash that meant Kairi had managed to run into the large pile of empty boxes Zola had been in the process of warning her about. Laughing even harder, Zola noticed another girl making her way towards their table - Zola had a sinking suspicion this girl was also Ravenclaw; she smiled at the approaching girl.

"I- got....it.....but....-"

Kairi thumped down onto the bench to catch her breath.
She had caught her new toy, but not before crashing into a few things.

The broom hadn't gotten too far, so that wasn't why she was out of breath.

She had to run away from the booth owner that she had run into.

After she began to breath slower, Kairi said, "Bloody hell, that was more of a scene then I had hoped for."
Kairi laughed as she put her toy into the box before she put it in her blue and bronze messenger bag.

"Well, anywho. I saw a few Slytherins as I went by. One was this nice boy I met yesterday but one was this dreadful girl who was rude to everyone who even stepped near her."

Kairi remembered what had happened yesterday at the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes shop.

"I thought someone gave her too many U-No-Poos personally."
Kairi smiled at her Ravenclaw friend.

Zola snorted at Kairi's description of the Slytherins. "Honestly, I'm more surprised by the idea of a nice Slytherin than I am by the idea of a Slytherin with too many U-No-Poos on her hands," Zola said to Kairi and Ylla. "Well, there's no sense in being mean, I think - there's nothing to get out of it. In my five years at Hogwarts I haven't really met many truly mean people at all - well," Zola reddened, "I don't really meet that many new people, so I guess that's why, but still..."

Kale strolled through the crowded streets at the festival. His gaze slidding over the games, prizes and rides. Lingering on the rides, he decided to return to them once night fell.

The deeper he wandered into the festival, the more he recognized faces, voices. A particular scene held his interest as he drew closer.

"...meeting you here." The voice held quite an amount of viciousness. He was surprised once he saw her face. For such a young slytherin she already showed much potential. Kale had yet to see who it was Romilda addressed, but curiosity got the best of him. He stepped ever nearer, wondering how things would unfold.

Persephone took a seat in between a stall advertising tea that was never too hot, but always stayed at the same temperature, and another advertising potions to use upon one's hair to make it silky and smooth, and sighed contentedly.

"Mittens, where'd you - Ah. Don't get lost, okay?" As soon as she had said the kitten's name, Mittens came bounding out from the depths of Persephone's bag. She picked the kitten up, and scratched the top of its head. She purred in response, and pushed her head further into Persephone's palm.

Persephone grinned and pulled her attention away from her kitten, and watched the crowds pass. Every now and then, her eyes would linger on a person she knew from school, but then they would disappear into the crowd, and she'd continue to look for a familiar face.

Kinzo picked out a silver bracelet for her mum. It had a dragon on it with emerald eyes; her mum loved dragons. She'd once wanted to work with them... Kinzo snapped back to reality at the shopkeeper's shouting. "ARE YOU GONNA PAY FOR THAT?" he yelled. "What if I'm not?" she replied with a commanding glare. "Well, then, well..." "That's right," she said as she handed the man her money and tucked the bracelet into her bag. She turned and watched the two glaring students, Romilda, and that first year. Kinzo then noticed Kale walking over, she leant back against the stand behind her to watch the show.

Kendra idly walked through the line of shops, giving glances at all the products they sold. Looking around some more, she spotted Kinzo, a fourth year Slytherin whom she was friends with.
"Hey Kinzo."
she spoke, approaching the girl.
"Whatcha got there?"
Kendra then added, noticing the bracelet that Kinzo clutched in her hand.

"Oh, hey Kenny!" said Kinzo, noticing the friend who had walked up. "Just got something for mum, since I kinda ditched her..." she rubbed the back of her head nervously. "Hope she's not too mad... Well anyway, how's your summer been?" Kinzo asked, as she pushed the bracelet into her bag.

Kendra laughed.
"My mom would probably faint from happiness if I got her a mandrake."
she replied, sarcasm lacing her words, her french accent strong.
"Anyway......my summer's been alright. Although, my father mostly pounded me with history the entire time."

Kinzo laughed at her friend's remark, thinking of how that scenario would actually turn out. "Ooh, history, not my strong suit," said Kinzo, "Well, my sister basically hung off my ankle all summer, until I gave her a Nosebleed Nougat, now she won't eat anything I've touched," Kinzo remembered the moment, it had been quite fun. "Those Weasly things do come in handy sometimes."

"That they do."
Kendra replied, thinking about how she had put quite a few nose bleed nougats in a group of first year Griffindor's chicken soup when she was a third year.
"But having no siblings myself, I am forced to deal with all of my parents attention."
