Cynclaire
Or answered you phone saying, "I'd love to talk. . . but I'm naked" or something? Or just randomly started reciting Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head? Or yelled "MELT ITS FACE" when someone is trying to kill a spider?
My friends, mom, and pretty much everyone I know would be weirded out. They would probably send me to a mental institute. xP
You guys are the only ones I know that like Gorillaz.
Except for my brother, since I heard him listening to Rock the House and also since he showed me the Clint Eastwood video. But honestly, he would be weirded out, too. Plus, I think he just like Del's rapping, not the Gorillaz. He listens to many other songs by Del, and I've never heard him listen to another song by Gorillaz besides those two, both of which, involve Del.

My brother is the only one I know who likes them. All my friends are like "Sure... whatever... sweatdrop " The other day I absent mindedly started going "It's coming up, it's coming up" in the elevator and got some weird stares. My mum's used to it tho, because I have so many inside jokes from various sources.

Ahem.
I call this little ditty: 'How to convince your folks that you're seriously messed up, using only $400 and an unhealthy obsession with a cartoon band who like to all things weird and... weird'
Part One: The Freaking Of The Younger Sibling.
Zurgsupport was a normal boy, to certain lengths of the word. He liked Mario and Sonic games a lot. His sister, Oolie, was rather nice to him, and teased him a healthy amount. Then he saw a change.
It came with the buying of the Demon Days, this change. FOr the first week, Oolie appeared to be almost brain dead, and her life revolved around doing her final exams and drawing pictures of that creepy tall guy, 2D or something. There were... a lot of them. A lot. As in, half a sketch book of.
Then came the buying of the Rise of the Ogre, which had a very strange cover and exhibited another change over Oolie. She seemed to be... quoting things. "MELT ITS FACE!!!!" entered her vocabulary, along with "Why didn't anyone tell ME it was crap?", "Where's my eel at?" and "I can't kill it, it's too slippery!". She put the CD on the CD player at full volume and sung along, even danced. All in all, it was quite disturbing.
With the end of exams, she was sighted singing 'Dare' to herself for two whole hours outside the school while waiting for her parents to pick her up.
It just got weirder from there. The introduction of 'Self-titled' or something into her life made her behave strangely indeed. And as she disappeared, bound for Hong Kong, and sent back news of buying three more Gorillaz CDs and a DVD, he could only lie awake in a cold sweat, reliving the horrible 'great Sonic fan video, I swear' featuring that horrible green man and a song something like "Murdoc is God"...
Part Two: The Convincing Of The Parents That The Daughter Was Nuts
Oolie was such a nice girl, and then came the Gorillaz. Well, she was still nice. Just a little more weird than she had been.
That she spent all of her birthday money, given to her by her rich grandparents (all of $400), on Gorillaz items was slightly worrying. That she seemed to be able to talk about nothing but Gorillaz was a little bit more worring. That she hit her brother repeatedly with a jelly snake yelling "MELT ITS FACE!!!!" was... very worrying indeed.
And there was something familiar about the blue hair style she seemed to want quite desperately...
At least her mother liked the Shoot to Ill shirt...
Part Three: Well, Her Friends Already Thought She Was Crazy. But At Least She Confirmed It.
Oolie had always been a little strange in the head, so it came as no surprise when she started to mutter strange lyrics under her breath such as "get the cool shoeshine" and "It's coming up, it's coming up, it's coming up, it's there". No surprise either that she fed the ravens that swarmed around the school grounds until they were almost tame. And really no surprise that she wanted her hair blue and spiky.
There was, of course, the Dare incident. And the forcing of friends to watch these odd things called Bitez. And... and the picture of 2D on her accounting exam paper with the caption, "I know as much about this as he knows about rocket science."
'Course, it didn't really help that none of them knew what Gorillaz was about. When she came back from her ten day holiday in Hong Kong claiming it had changed her outlook on music, art and the way the world should be, they weren't sure what to say, and generally avoided the subject. And those creepy designs she was doing now, her former pretty anime style changed to something odd with bold lines, dynamic poses and rather high groins.
Well. Perhaps college would treat her better.
The End.
Um. Yeah. All true stories. Including the eel thing... I intend to kidnap his 'Drawn To Life' game and make a Gorillaz account. I think I'll call the town Kong, and... I'll make the main character 2D... and the town statue can be Murdoc. Yeah. Sounds good.
But, um. You guys are the only ones I know who like Gorillaz. I'm glad I fit in here - my friends were starting to look at me weirdly. Although I do admit, "MELT ITS FACE!!!!" is not a great ice breaker...

Lol, I need to get you pictures of the Drawn To Life account (yeah, I did it XD)
The great hero 2D! The 2D without pants everytime he gets hit! The sacred flame pedastal sacrifical altar of the inverted cross! It's very fun.
Also, great hero 2D does this little dance when he wins something that looks exactly like his mummy walk in Dress Up. It makes me crack up laughing every time I see it.
