Kairi smiled.
"Some Slytherins are bad, but not all of them."
She stepped through the archway with the other two girls into the busy street of Diagon Alley.
Kairi always felt at peace whenever she was here, either here or at Hogwarts.
"Alright, Ollivanders is this way," Kairi spoke as she pointed to a brick building a little ways away.

Jes wandered through the busy streets of Diagon Alley. She had gotten her school shopping done a week ago but wanted to hang out here. She loved the wizarding world and one of her favorite parts was all the awesome shops. She was about to head into the Leaky Cauldron for a drink when she saw Kairi.

Kale walked along the cobble stones, aimlessly peering at the faces in the crowd. He didn't bother to call recognition to those of familiarity. As he turned the corner towards the Leaky Cauldron, he ran head long into a petite 4th year. His memory jolted with a sudden rush of information as he placed her face with previous knowledge of the girl. Jessi was the Hufflepuffs name.
Brushing himself off, Kale eyed the girl, wondering what the damage was. Already he had his wand in hand, prepared to perform a quick healing charm if needed be.

Jes stumbled backwards and looked up at who had run into her. It was Kale, a 7th year Slytherin. She blushed at the sight of him, but she smiled. She saw his wand and worried face.
"Hello Kale. Don't worry I'm fine."

Smiling dashingly, Kale continued his inspection until he was quite satisfied that not a scratch marred the younger. For not seeing her since he tutored her the previous year, Kale was surprised at how much she changed.
"Jessica, I see you sprouted up a bit. I was wondering when you'd reach the height of a house elf." He teased her cheerfully. Then took notice of their location and offered a gentalmanly arm.
"Would you like to accompany me for a beverage? I was just about to quench my thirst. How does a butterbear sound to you?"

Jes mumbled "Thanks" awkwardly to the 'elf' comment. She looked up at Kale and saw he had too filled out a bit more. He had gotten a little taller and had more muscle. Jes was surprised to hear him ask her for a drink, but agreed.
"Sure, why not? It sounds lovely." she said taking his arm and blushing even more.

Kale stuffed his chuckle down his throat to keep from embarrassing Jes furthur. He always felt brotherly toward the young one, and in turn wanted to keep her safe. Where he got the impulse, he had no idea. It was completely uncharacteristic of him. If his mates new...well screw them.
-pushing the door open Kale paused as Jesi stopped to converse with a girl-
Now where have I seen her before....? He wondered silently to himself.

Kairi smiled as said, "I've been good. Waiting impatiently for school, but good."
Kairi turned slightly and noticed the boy and smiled towards him slyly before turning back to the girl.

Jes looked at Kale and decided she should wrap up the conversation. "I'm excited for school, but still I'll miss my summer sleeping and internet. Well I'll let you go. See you on the express!" Jes smiled and turned back to Kale.
