Lyssah glared at Pamina and said, "They won't be so cute once you hear all about what they truly are and what they do. Vampyrum Spectrum devour animals whole, and are quite cannibalistic, in fact. They are known to eat their own kind. They are large enough to kill and eat owls...even a Great Gray." Lyssah patted the Vampyrum Spectrum closest to her on the head affectionately, then patted the Vampire Bat. She announced, "This is a Vampire Bat. It doesn't eat its prey whole, but sucks the blood out of its prey...and its life. What is left is a shriveled up, puny thing you never want to see in your life."

Pamina looked at the moon, her golden eyes crescent pupil contracting from the sudden light.
She then turned to face Lyssah once again.
Now she was just being rude.
"I'm sorry. Did you say something?"

Lyssah's nostrils flared, and so did her eyes for a second. She exclaimed, "Were you even listening to me?! Did you hear anything I said?!" She paused and then growled, "I was trying to help ya out! But apparently you don't want my help!"
The Vampire Bat glared at Pamina and hissed at her, spittle flying at the werewolf. The Vampyrum Spectrum screeched, out of fury, no doubt.

Pamina looked at Lyssah carefully.
"That's right, maybe I don't want your help." She sighed sadly.
"But that doesn't mean I don't need help..." She gazed at the moon.
She missed her family so much. She knew she couldn't remember all too well what they were like. But Pamina knew that if she could go back to where she came from, she wouldn't refuse.
At that moment, a bit of her humanesque peaked through the wolf guise.
Her eyes slowly changed color, still being in her werewolf form, from gold to silver.
She turned to Lyssah again.
"Do you remember your family?"

Lyssah's eyes flared, and the redness seemed more...intense, if that was even possible.
She wondered, Why the hell is that wolf-lady being...nice?!?! Is that...friendliness I hear in her voice?!
Night slithered towards the werewolf at the speed of light, and hissed...as if warning, 'don't play tricks on us.'
Black Mamba's are very, very fast...

As the black mamba slithered to her, Pamina just stared at it sadly.
She then sat down, as if waiting for the mamba.
She asked the vampire. "Well? Do you?" Her voice was weak and melancholy.
Pamina didn't really wish to be friend with Lyssah, she knew that would be too hard, but she needed to know that there were humans here too, that she wasn't alone.

Lyssah sighed, not out of pity, but out of frustration and aggravation. She normally wasn't this rude, but anyhow, this was the enemy...
"Well, if I tell you, will you shut up?!" Lyssah's voice was loud...which was strange with her petite figure. She didn't wait for an answer. "No; I don't remember my family!"
Night slithered back to Lyssah, and came up her leg, then seemed to appear on her shoulder.

"Miss them...?" Lyssah's red eyes turned completely silver, and looked dazed as they glazed over... She...
Lyssah sucked the blood out of a badger happily, and her parents - both vampires - patted her on the head. The badger shriveled up as it died; the blood completely sucked out.
Lyssah's red eyes came back, and the silver turned back into simply a slight tint.
"I don't know," she said simply.

Pamina smiled. That was good enough for her.
She looked at the vampyrium spectrum ringed around her.
"Are you going to do anything to me now? Slay me?" She wasn't mocking or taunting, she was actually asking the question.

Lyssah sighed, and knew she should slay Pamina...but for some reason, she felt bad for the wolf. And she didn't think it would hurt to give the wolf a chance, a life.
Lyssah said, "I should slay you. But I won't. You better be grateful, and never stray onto this territory again, you hear? So...get out." Lyssah made sure her voice showed no sympathy, for sympathy was weakness. Night hissed, truly not sympathetically.

Pamina didn't know why, but she knew she didn't want to go now.
She shook her head.
"I'm sorry, it's just... it seems wrong to just leave now." she said quietly.
Determination shone fiercely in her silver eyes.
"I won't leave now. Battle me. Then I shall leave."

Lyssah sighed, and glared at this wolf before her. All sympathy left her like wind leaving the sea.
"If that's what you want..." Lyssah growled. She was feeling rather malicious at that moment, yes, but she was also feeling honorable. She called the vampire bat away, along with the many Vampyrum Spectrum. She shouted to the vampires in the trees, "Go away! I am fighting a fair fight; one on one!"
The vampries granted Lyssah's wish and fluttered off in the wind.
Night clung to Lyssah's hand, and hissed...reluctant to not fight.

Ears pointed backward, fangs bared.
